Many people are of the opinion that this act is the most memorable and dramatic in La Nouba history. Obviously other La Nouba performers also have their fans, but Rokardy's Balancing On Chairs is the one act that is so strong, and complete within itself, that it could be promoted as an act on its own. Rokardy steadily builds suspense and drama, and wraps it all up in this perfect package, as only he can. This performance is a beautiful example of the magic that Rokardy creates for an audience...

People as young as 8 have been in the show, but usually part of a larger act. If you're a minor, as long as you either have a guardian with you, and have a good act, you can probably get in.

I heard that tonite is the last night for this act and its going to be replaced by juggling from Kooza with new music. Can anyone confirm that this is true?

I also heard that german wheels will be replaced by jump roping.

@imagineerboi I just saw the show last Wednesday and this segment had been replaced by the juggling you mentioned. The intro music into the segment was the same until you get to the chorus theme. Then it was entirely new music. I was so bummed b/c I saw this show once before and this chair part was my favorite!

I'm afraid, as talented as they are they really should do it with NO wires. It is much less awe inspiring with them. I'd go up there with a safety wire! but I wouldn't without one - that's what I like to see - people who'd do stuff who CAN! Spoil it for me I'm afraid.

When you're relaxed you shake less, so balancing and concentration is easier anyway.
