I must say that I've been listening to this song intently and from my observation the song is about nice women who have been abused, neglected.... ill-treated in life maybe by a spouse, family or so-called friends. So therefore the woman is the victim in this song. In your case YOU are the victim.
I too experienced a lot of pain in my early lifetime. What this video shows and reminds me of is that there are many other women who have sufferedheartache and have become hardened by it. This song could be the mantra for my life too and one time it was. But when I got tired of suffering, I chose to nurture myself and let others in instead of turning hard and cold. I did this with the help of God who loves me unconditionally. Peace, Love and Freedom.
