Marble pyramidal structure of Khan Tengri made it unique and most beautiful among all mountains of the Earth, according opinion of many mountaneers, who climbed it. Unfortunately, uyghurs lost this sacred mountain, but it still in territorial dispute between China, Kazakhstan and Kirghizstan, whose borders are merged in the vicinity of mountain. Who possesses Khan Tengri possesses the hearts of Central Asian people.

When Soviet mountaneers raised Red flag on Khan Tengri they suprisingly found a few miles away more higher peak (7546 against 7000 of Khan Tengri) on Soviet/Sinkiang border. They reported to Stalin and he decided to name it as peak of Victory. On those days (August,1943) Kursk battle was won and Nazy Germany was coming to its inevitable end.

Khan Tangri mountain was in Uyghurstan for centuries, but now it's on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. It's a sacred peak of Tangri-Tagh and Stalin sent mountarees to put Soviet flag on its height just when Kursk battle( where 1 million soldiers were involved from each side) was in progress in June,1943.
