This actually did go very well with the scene of ultimate ass kickery, this and the finale were two of the only reasons to actually watch Operation Overdrive.That and my enjoying some of the villains of the series like Flurious and his brother Moltor secures Overdrives place above Lightspeed Rescue and the absolute worst series of all time Power Rangers Turbo (yes even with Tommy in it it still managed to suck dick).
