He always says that it's not the police entention to seem like they're jackasses and all they want to do is shoot people....they're the ones that are going home at night....I plan to be an officer when I'm older, and I'm not gonna be like that. And lots of cops are severely underpaid, so don't even start talking about the money. They pay the same taxes as everyone else, so really they're paying their own salary. I'm sorry if you've never met any, but there are some people out there who genuinely care about making the world suck less.

When a situation does call for lethal force, that means the guns come out; it does *not* mean everyone dies. Cops will still attempt to stop the offender, not kill them, unless absolutely necessary. They aim for the chest, the perp goes down and stops fighting, that's it. He'll likely live, the end.
