I think a lot would be lost doing this in a marching band. Instrumentation, orchestration, counterpoint, overall form... I guess I'm glad it's on the field, but the original is better than anything able to be produced by a marching band...

i just performed this song at NJPAC yesterday with the NJ All-State Symphonic Band. Playing this song made it an absolutely amazing experience! I played 2nd clarinet as well lol and it was just... so much fun. I can't listen to this piece without getting chills. North Texas Wind Symphony is hardcore
