Wow, what a great costume! You look excactly like Svein Roger! Oh, and by the way, I thought that I would take the opportunity to tell you that I'm the old YouTube-user 'KapSabeltann' that was deleted back in September due to copyright claims.
@kongenpahavet Thank you very much! ;) And aw I'm sorry to hear that, it was your channel where I watched the Sabeltann movies for the very first time! After that I've got them on dvd of course.
@jspfgh Yup, homemade. Since all the Sabeltann hats they sell are sized for children, I had to make one for my big head :P I simply bought a big pirate hat from a makeup&costume store and then attached a long feather muff to it.
do you know i can buy Terje Formoe's golden marking?
and how expensive it had become important if someone would make terje Formoe costume to me? and why have terje Formoe different costume patterns golden in almost every year

@SmileyKristian uuh well :D from what I've seen, the hats are slightly different from the shape and feathers. The ropes in Karlsen's jacket's shoulderplates are longer. Also the decorations/ornaments in the golden areas look different.
Well of course, they have had to make new and better costume during years. The Sabeltann show grew bigger, and therefore costumes had to be better too. :)
I guess they... hired someone to built up the houses? :D I dunno.
Nope, sadly Terje's costume is slightly more difficult made than mine. :P I think fabrics and layers used in his costume are thicker than mine.
And I don't know how to make that house, sorry :D But Pinky costume might be easy to do? Just find same kind of shorts and t-shirt and pirate scarf. That's the easiest way, I suppose.
The shoulder decorations were made separately and then attached to the jacket. The little skulls are just cutten from golden fabric, which are sewed to shoulder pieces.
The shop is Punanaamio, it's here in Finland, so I don't think that could help you :P
And it took about 2 months to make the costume. Less, if I had been working it all the time. :D
Well I basically just bought loots of black fabric, usual fabric for the jacket and a little smoother, silkish fabric for the vest. I also bought golden lace and fabric.
Then I made the basic jacket for my measures and added all the golden parts for it. Same with the vest: first basic black vest and then adding the golden decorations.
The hat and trousers I bought from a costume store. :) But the feathery thing for the hat was bought separately and then attached to the hat.

But do you know about any jobs that can make such dress as you? hehe ..

Yours: Magnus .. : D
SmileyKristian 2 years ago
No problem!
No, sadly I don't know any :P
And I have no idea what makeup Terje uses. I myself use Grimas' cream makeup face paints, they're really high quality and stay well in face. :)
Did you mean who's my favourite character? I didn't quite understand your last question, sorry. :P
KingKaarle 2 years ago
But are the pictures of Terje with Captain saber costume.
And what is so surprising is that he has different outfits. do you know?
And how do you think he would have made them the first houses on the stage? Sorry to nag.
Regards Magnus. :)
