как граф K3,3 связен, то для этой планарной реализации справедлива формула Эйлера p – q + r = 2. Поскольку в графе K3,3 имеем p = 6 и q = 9, то число всех граней должно равняться r = 2 – p + q = 5. Так же, как в доказательстве предыдущей теоремы, получаем, что Σ from i=1 to r (qi=2q=18), где qi — число сторон в i-ой грани. Но в графе K3,3 нет циклов длины 3.

actaully...the reason why it's unsolvable...is because it is in 2-D....if you were to cross the lines...and revert it to 3-D then it could simply look like on line behind another!!!!!but see we see it as the lines are crossed because of 2-D...then thats why it is unsolvable!!!!!!

so technically you can cross the lines...cuz for all anyone knows those two "crossed" lines could simply be on line 5 feet behind another line.

FAIL. You can not jump from house to house. You have gas going to the center house twice. You jump gas from house two to house three. ALL lines must start at the utility and go to said house. This puzzle is over 40 years old. It can only be solved on an inner tube.

It's not the solution...there are 10 lines, not 9 so it's not the solution. the line breaking the chimney is not solid there for it counts as two. So the total number of lines used is 10, not 9. Fail
