  • Awesome!

  • Would you say theres a BIG difference between the presonus fs and the apogee ensemble besides lots of money? Great playing btw :)

  • that 22in ride sounds just amazing!!! beautiful cymbal :)

  • I just signed in to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this video. Also, do you have any Jazz produced that I could purchase? Thank you.

  • Great playing!! what constantinoples are you using?

  • @toddius79 20 in med thin low bell on the left, 22 in prototype #14 on the right . the 22 has much more definition and a larger brighter bell, Thank you!

  • your whole kit sounds great! not to mention the flow! ; )

  • @Carlmasen Thank you! Seems like we all play better when things are sounding good :)

  • Oh haha. I thought you were younger. I was gonna say it's good to know I'm not the only young jazz drummer, but maybe I am O.o

  • @darthjoey13 Don't make me post the vids of when I was kickin a big band in High School :) It's great to hear of young drummers still interested in playing Jazz. Keep on it!

  • Nice, Nice, Nice!! Cymbals are super sexy and sleak, although the drums could use a little green fur, but other than that......lol......Hope to see you soon!!!

  • @cortneydea hahah I was gonna hit you up and see if you had any left over from your kit :) I'm sure I will see you soon enough !!!

  • great playing and cool overhead mic sound...could you give me some feedback about them?

    thanks

    juan

  • @drumstudio2000 Thanks, The Overheads are a matched pair Earthworks. TC30k is the model num if you want to look up the specs. Basically they are really wide freq response, very accurate. Im just using the 2 Earthworks and a kick mic on the drums. They are able to pick up the whole kit sound... So with these mics its very important to have whatever you are recording IN TUNE and sounding good in the space you are recording. You can find them used for around $1400 let me know if I can help any more

  • Great playing. How old are you?

  • @darthjoey13 Thanks I'm 37

  • Nice stuff as usual, Drums and cymbals sound great. More when it happens please.

  • @griffot Workin' on it thanks for you patience :)

  • great session, can't wait for some new videos!

  • Sounds amazing! Are you all playing in a church ?

  • @addnone Yeah bro, we wanted a big ambient room to play in... That way the fellas dont need headphones and you can get a true connection with the other players! With my laptop and the Presonus Firestudio we can go virtually anywhere!

  • @michaelcurtisjr That's so coool, portable studio haha

  • @addnone This setup works flawlessly. I had not one Issue recording all day long :)

  • no one can say that Miles Davis wasn't THE GREATEST and MOST INFLUENTIAL JAZZ MUSICIAN EVER...

  • @TheXrythmicXtongue Who doesn't love Miles?

  • @michaelcurtisjr Un-cultured morons that's who..;-) Veeeerrry good job BTW...

  • @TheXrythmicXtongue Thanks , and yeah the world is full of those people I've found

  • Smooth!

Just enough of fiddling around to make it interesting, but still not overpowering! Really great performance from all three of you!

  • @JerryBeatFreak Thank you much!

  • smooth and great! I love it!

  • @marcinnsz Thank you!

  • Sounds great.Thank's for posting.

  • @LOUD7 Thank you!

  • Been a while since you uploaded man. Nice playing as always :)

  • @FaithIsAccidental I know....had too much going on.... But we are gonna be working on this project until its done....and ill be dragging at least one camera to all of the sessions! and Thank you!

  • Excellent playing! I think the song sounds great.

Also, what might the sizes be on that Toca? I really dig it!

  • @chris7626 13 x 5.5 i think might be 6. I can tell you they are hard to find as they only made a small number. Thanks for your kind words!

  • @michaelcurtisjr Toca is pretty expensive too, correct? Looks like I won't be getting one anytime soon.

  • @chris7626 I think I paid like 300 for this drum used in the 1990's... I have seen guys selling them, but rarely. Pearl makes nice free floaters, but I haven't seen any 13" ( doesn't mean they don't exist )

  • so smooth.... love it!

  • @MagicXXMadness Thanks! =)
