@toddius79 20 in med thin low bell on the left, 22 in prototype #14 on the right . the 22 has much more definition and a larger brighter bell, Thank you!
@darthjoey13 Don't make me post the vids of when I was kickin a big band in High School :) It's great to hear of young drummers still interested in playing Jazz. Keep on it!
Nice, Nice, Nice!! Cymbals are super sexy and sleak, although the drums could use a little green fur, but other than that......lol......Hope to see you soon!!!
@drumstudio2000 Thanks, The Overheads are a matched pair Earthworks. TC30k is the model num if you want to look up the specs. Basically they are really wide freq response, very accurate. Im just using the 2 Earthworks and a kick mic on the drums. They are able to pick up the whole kit sound... So with these mics its very important to have whatever you are recording IN TUNE and sounding good in the space you are recording. You can find them used for around $1400 let me know if I can help any more
@addnone Yeah bro, we wanted a big ambient room to play in... That way the fellas dont need headphones and you can get a true connection with the other players! With my laptop and the Presonus Firestudio we can go virtually anywhere!
@FaithIsAccidental I know....had too much going on.... But we are gonna be working on this project until its done....and ill be dragging at least one camera to all of the sessions! and Thank you!
@chris7626 I think I paid like 300 for this drum used in the 1990's... I have seen guys selling them, but rarely. Pearl makes nice free floaters, but I haven't seen any 13" ( doesn't mean they don't exist )
Awesome!

Excellent playing! I think the song sounds great.
Also, what might the sizes be on that Toca? I really dig it!
chris7626 7 months ago
@chris7626 13 x 5.5 i think might be 6. I can tell you they are hard to find as they only made a small number. Thanks for your kind words!

@michaelcurtisjr Toca is pretty expensive too, correct? Looks like I won't be getting one anytime soon.
