What is that "o" crawling across the screen in the LDL from :32 to :38?

Maybe the cable company wanted to leave the ad scrawl blink by typing in alot of spaces or something. I'm assuming thats a degree sign and they probliy did a typeo while typing in the blink ad scrawl.
