I sleep in my nighty But sometimes will " fall asleep " the other way .. which I do prefer but do not automatically do it anymore as .. well let's just say, I do not feel as naked worthy anymore. i prefer to sleep in boxers or in pj bottoms with the door locked. nothin more awkward then wakin up and someone ur livin with is rummagin thru ur stuff lol. i was up all night last night cuz for some reason i'm havin back pains. i think i pulled one of the muscles..sure hope it's not the syatic nerve. i moved one of those huge entertainment centers by myself and then a telly from 1989 which doesn't rlly work no more..then i woke up in pain ouchies..
I sleep in the buff if sleeping on your side you need to put a pillow on its side or flat if its real thick up against your chest. That will give you a place to rest your arm and keep it at a level thats comfortable. adjust to fit a body pillow is great also enjoy
I Sleep Naked. I'm pretty sure the house will never catch fire :o) Side-sleeping I position my arm so it doesn't interfere with my chin or circulation. I also put a thin layer of blanket over the top of my head and my eyes...like a sleeping parakeet in a cage. Cat changes position behind my legs as I turn over. Pillow between my knees, wadded up blanket and pillow at waste level to throw my other arm over. All in all it feels like I'm sleeping in a Big Fluffy Cloud.
LOL and yes I agree with detachable arms we would be less likely to get those nasty kinks in our neck and pains in our arms and shoulders. Oh and I sleep in a mini dress kind of looking thing ♥ ya Zip!
I usually sleep in only a T-shirt... I have two pillows to elevate my head when I sleep on my side so that there's room for my arm. Well, for me it works and the T-shirt can go wherever it wants to without any conscious rearranging...

I sleep in tee shirt and tighty whiteys, and have done so for 50 years, with occasional exceptions depending on who I might be sleeping with that night. Nude is okay, except you occasionally roll over and squish your thing and have to adjust IT, which can wake you up...
Weird, but I've made the same statement about detachable arms. They are a nuisance for side sleepers but they're handy for rolling over and I'm a serious roller overer!

When I grew up and realized it was my Mother & Father who had decided I should wear pajamas, I realized it was now my decision, yes or no, and as there had always been the same problem of PJs bunching up I made a decision to try Nude. I have slept this way since my 1st marriage and continue to sleep naked. Yeah, there are other side benifits as well in the bed together. If I feel a chill I might put on an XXL T-shirt which nearly covers my knees.
i use my arms to cuddle with stuff lol i dont think i'd like detachible arms that much, but YES! DEFINITLY SLEEP NAKED! lol i hate when cloths do that , the only time i sleep with cloths on is when i pass out in them and even then i wake up in the middle of the night n take em off cuz they bug me.

Hey Uncle Zip. I sleep in my boxers with the fan on . Eff the T Shirt riding as well as the bottoms. Just wear boxers or nothing is my opinion. Also try a Body Pillow. I use one and it's fantastic. It's great for folks that sleep on their side.

SO true about the detachable arms - I agree! I wish I could sleep on my side, but I can't because my arm gets in the way. I sleep on my stomach. I'm going to try to make an effort to sleep on my back, though, since it's better for you.

I sleep nude in the spring/summer and with warm PJs in the fall/winter. I'm also a side sleeper but I use a silk pillowcase to help with the wrinkles.
Ya know Zip at first I was gonna call you out as being on the OCD side but then realized that your discomfort was in fact MY discomfort when I was young and why as a teen I took to sleeping in the nude too. I continued to do so upto about six years ago and have progressd back to wearing a t-shirt and boxer briefs at night now. i know I toss and turn a LOT while I sleep so I don't think i have one side or position that is the most frequent.
I sleep in my underwear, and i sleep on my right ear because im deaf in my left ear, so i dont hear anything at all while i sleep. I would go nuts if i could hear stuff while i sleep. And what i do with my right arm is, i put my hand between my two pillows that i rest my head on, and my arm is shaped like an acute angle. Its pretty comfortable.
I like pull on pants like yoga pants or long gym pants, because they fit closely and are less likely to ride up. Those go with a long sleeved top in cooler weather, and with a shirt or tee shirt in weather that is warmer. When it is hot in the house, I wear a long cotton night gown or a muu muu.
I sleep in the most minimal clothing possible. I HAVE to wear underwear, but I usually wear either a loose tank top or a loose t-shirt. It has to have a loose neck so I don't feel choked. I love sleeping topless though, but I seldom do it because I have little privacy in my house.
Hate pj's as there is nothing worse than the bottoms bunching up when u turn over. I like 100% cotton nightgowns for summer even with AC and flannel nightgowns or sweats for winter. Hate heat on at night in winter but we only have a few weeks a year where it gets below 40F at night so that's great. I'm with you on the arm! In the winter, I love my flannels...yay....sometimes they get wound up around me...and it is awful, I feel choked...,,,,,,,In the summer, I have lighter jams...but they get screwed around me too! But, I'd rather have them on just in case! I always have my arms stretched above and below with pillows between my legs and my boobs. I call it my nest. I have them all around me....front and back.

I sleep on my right side exclusively and if I had to guess, I would say that at least once per week, I find myself wishing I didn't have a right arm. Some times it "falls asleep," some times it gets sore and almost sprained. For years I have been wishing someone would invent a mattress with a damn hole in it so I could hang my right arm down toward the floor through the mattress.

@Zipster08 nah, I got some mexicans across the street from me that always leaves their trash out on their front lawn and in their house for a whole week. when the garbage men pass them by they take their trash on their front lawn to the curb and the trash in their house later moves to their front lawn so the trash there will be sitting another week. they get rid of their trash every other week so now I got to suffer with the mice in the after math.
It really depends on how hot/cold it is. If it's chilly I wear a tee shirt and pajama bottoms to bed. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, so I don't really get woken up by my pant legs being all up in my crotch. LOL But if it's hot, I just wear a pair of sleep shorts, and that's it. No shirt or anything.

For the arm issue: Try putting a pillow under your torso just below your shoulder. This lessens the pressure on your shoulder.

The weather is getting colder here in Sydney so i tried sleeping with some PJ bottoms on recently cause i was cold at night, and i had the same issue.. so damn annoying. not relaxing at all.
And i'm as side sleeper as well and i've always wished i could deflate one arm at bed time.. cause yeah, what the hell are you supposed to do with it?
i usually sort of tuck it back on itself and slip it under the pillow.

Hey Uncle Zip. I sleep in my boxers with the fan on . Eff the T Shirt riding as well as the bottoms. Just wear boxers or nothing is my opinion. Also try a Body Pillow. I use one and it's fantastic. It's great for folks that sleep on their side.

I wear just my drawers so that if the covers get rearranged my ass isn't showing or something.
Also I sleep almost exclusively on my right side. My brain won't let me sleep on my left side for some reason. I think the right side of my head is even a little flatter than the left side.

i usually sleep in boxerbriefs and a huge tshirt.. or gym shorts and a tshirt.. and i usually sleep on my side, alternating sides throughout the night. Instead of detachable arms i think those concept mattresses with indentations in them just for your arms might be a cool idea.

Sleep? what's that?.....but when I do I usually also sleep in the nude...of course if you do you really have to have the best sheets possible....high thread count, silk, flannel, etc.....there is nothing worse than sleeping in the nude with crappy sheets...it is all about comfort as far as I am concerned :)

I sleep in all types of things. Sometimes just what I wore during the day, sometimes I throw on some proper PJs, sometimes I sleep completely naked, pants but no top, top but no pants, underwear and nothing else. lol I like to switch it up. And I sooooo wish arms were detachable for sleep purposes. I move around a lot but I mostly sleep on either my side or my stomach and arms are just a pain in the ass to manage without them going numb in the night lol

I am not a nude sleeper I sleep with my socks on lol!!! I am weird in the way that I have to lay on my stomach for about 10 minutes or so until it gets uncomfortable and then lay on my side to go to sleep. If I don't lay on my stomach first I have a hard time falling asleep. That sucks when I am sick and my stomach hurts. Because it's unbearable to lay on my stomach but it takes longer to fall asleep. Ahhh the problems I have in my life lol.

Ya know Zip at first I was gonna call you out as being on the OCD side but then realized that your discomfort was in fact MY discomfort when I was young and why as a teen I took to sleeping in the nude too. I continued to do so upto about six years ago and have progressd back to wearing a t-shirt and boxer briefs at night now. i know I toss and turn a LOT while I sleep so I don't think i have one side or position that is the most frequent.

I sleep in my underwear, and i sleep on my right ear because im deaf in my left ear, so i dont hear anything at all while i sleep. I would go nuts if i could hear stuff while i sleep. And what i do with my right arm is, i put my hand between my two pillows that i rest my head on, and my arm is shaped like an acute angle. Its pretty comfortable.

I like pull on pants like yoga pants or long gym pants, because they fit closely and are less likely to ride up. Those go with a long sleeved top in cooler weather, and with a shirt or tee shirt in weather that is warmer. When it is hot in the house, I wear a long cotton night gown or a muu muu.

I sleep in the most minimal clothing possible. I HAVE to wear underwear, but I usually wear either a loose tank top or a loose t-shirt. It has to have a loose neck so I don't feel choked. I love sleeping topless though, but I seldom do it because I have little privacy in my house.

Hate pj's as there is nothing worse than the bottoms bunching up when u turn over. I like 100% cotton nightgowns for summer even with AC and flannel nightgowns or sweats for winter. Hate heat on at night in winter but we only have a few weeks a year where it gets below 40F at night so that's great. I'm with you on the arm! The older I get the more it seems to get in the way and go numb!! Love ya Zip!

I sleep on my right side exclusively and if I had to guess, I would say that at least once per week, I find myself wishing I didn't have a right arm. Some times it "falls asleep," some times it gets sore and almost sprained. For years I have been wishing someone would invent a mattress with a damn hole in it so I could hang my right arm down toward the floor through the mattress.

I only remember a few times my pants twisting around sideways on me and I just pulled them off. As far as arms go, I sleep on my stomach so my arms aren't much of a bother to me. It really depends on how hot/cold it is. If it's chilly I wear a tee shirt and pajama bottoms to bed. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, so I don't really get woken up by my pant legs being all up in my crotch. LOL But if it's hot, I just wear a pair of sleep shorts, and that's it. No shirt or anything.
