This reminds me of elementary school back in the 70's. Being forced to listen to the lord's prayer, even though not religious. Although sounds good, I would not appreciate the religious overtones interrupting my commercialized holiday shopping!
You are living in a predominantly Christian country. Deal with it. If I were living in Israel or a Muslim country, how tolerant would they be if I were to bitch about their traditions or religious celebrations? Be happy that you can go home and celebrate your beliefs without being persecuted. People like you had better start understanding what religious freedom really means.
This is very certaintly the most jollyest thing in a long time! I'd saw tryhards at walmart this morning. You friggen fools. But the thought was there at least. And merry Christmas
A most beautful song For the beautifully strong As we watch cities close down Cause of just a little snow We ARE Winnipeg Our conditioning makes us the heart of a continent, As does, The heart of a Winnipegger, The collective soul, Our best will always be available Being also the most generous place on earth As well rounded as us 'peggers are To those around the world We remain humble Meegwetch
the most exciting thing that ever happened in winnipeg...you can't even drink in the casino there. Well I'm at it quit making pennies already nobody wants them.
Kind of odd, this is a public place where people from all religious and cultural origins are sharing a space and you go and advertise your religious identification which might not be as welcome. Not a good move to impress a diverse Winnipeg population.
@ZahawBaran - I guess no one should do anything. Some cultures do not allow eating in the presence of strangers, so the whole food court is inappropriate. It's Christmas, lighten up!
@ZahawBaran - I'm wondering how anyone will know that we have a rich and culturally diverse population if we all hide it so as not to "offend" anyone else. I, for one, feel no slight or insult when given the opportunity to witness such a joyful cultural or religious expression, of any kind. That is what makes Winnipeg the beautiful city it is, the freedom to express and acceptance of others' cultural diversity.
Chris, I noticed that the audio and video on this was out of sync. Did you edit the video which was taken from the other youtube flash choir video? anyway, great job. It was nice for you to get that closup of that woman who was intensely moved by the singing and/or spiritual experience.
I like this type of Flash mob. You get to keep your pants on.

@rpareyon That's on purpose, as to not cut up the song while the camera was moving around the room to capture as many people as possible.

@ChrisD204 ahhh okay thanks. I thought that multiple cameras were used, and the video was just badly edited. Thanks for clearing it up though.
