Are the bass and the drums from the "session-partner" or is it recorded from your band?
I also think about buying the fp4 but I like the features of the fp7 (bigger display, playing of wav-files) but it's very heavy and more expensive - and I don't know if I'll really use these features ...
Is the touch of the keyboard really worse than the one of the fp7?
Thanks for the comment. Those are backing tracks available at jazzbooks dot com.
FP-4 action is very good only a slight difference from FP-7. I would get the FP-7 only if I was using it in a home studio. For portability you can't beat the FP-4 at 33 lbs.
at :14 you didn't include a supreme wynton kelly lick, which i resent. fucking awesome otherwise.

Great swing and Tyner-oriented lines, in perfect hard bop style.:-)

thx for another great experience! those backing tracks are ridiculous, yet it sounds like a live trio.
brings me back to my tape recording 2-track over-dubbing days as a youngster.

Very cool Sam Jones tune, even cooler execution here, one of my favorites to play on guitar a la Wes.

I can hear those Wes lines in my head now.

I love Wes' version! Maybe my tag gave that away though...

the name of this song would not have to call UNIT7 but: Intelligent Crazy Swinging Talking Piano.
FANTASTICO!
