I'm on my third playthrough of Mass Effect 2; trying to get as many people on my side (differant races wise) and as many Sqaudmates loyal (I almost got it last time, just didn't get Jack loyal cause of her and Miranda's "Who's a whinier bitch" fight.) and get everybody to survive the Suicide Mission (accually did it twice with no prob.). I don't have Mass Effect one, so there's some choices in that one that I wish I could of made (mainly NOT killing Wrex and letting the Conciel die.), but I'm

@MrNeddlemouse810 You should really consider playing ME1 to get the full story. I started with the first game and I just couldn´t get over my hatred for Cerberus in the second due to all the crappy and horrible things they did in ME1 (fighting for humanity yeah right!).

@MrNeddlemouse810 But if that is not an option to you then you should try downloading the ME2 dlc Genesis. It´s an interactive comic (I think) that should give you the ability to make some of the key choices in the first game and then transfer the "results" to the second.

Maybe you could save the council and Wrex there:)

I'm looking forward to know how the story of my character is going to end. I always maintained a good personality but I did some quick bad things in the ME2 just to give the character some feeling of rebellion, not so bad but some red time events I clicked on. Also a maintained myself faithful to the relationship I had in the first ME, but maybe I'll change that in the 3 game hanging with a new character or another just to give a new situation in that way. Love Shepard, Hate Reapers, LOVE ME!.

@DarthAdraas Yes, providing you also get all the upgrades to the ship that they suggest, like the kinetic barriers, the armor, the improved gun batteries. Also, during the suicide mission you will assign people jobs. One such job will require a tech expert, another a powerful biotic, and others where you need good leaders for fire teams. It's all very easy and if you give the right jobs to the right people, everyone will survive.

@bluehornet2297 It was a team led by Shepard, that ended sovereign and the geth, a team formed by The Illusive Man and led by Shepard that ended the collectors(which were modifications of protheans to suit the Reapers' needs) and for the last one pretty sure a team led by Shepad will do that.

@darkerca yeah they will. bioware released a redemption code with every ps3 version of mass effect 2 allowing you to download a interactive backstory of mass effect 1. so the decisions made throughout the game like killing the rachni queen etc can be done in the space of 10 minutes, at the start of mass effect 2 rather than playing mass effect 1. it was also later released for xbox 360 on xbox live.

@darkerca check it out if you want. just type in mass effect 2 interactive backstory comic on youtube and it should have it in full. if you dont use the backstory on the ps3 version, the ps3 mass effect 2 is set to default mass effect 1 choices, which means, no romance with liara or ashley, kaiden is killed if you choose a male shepard, ashley vice-versa, wrex is killed, rachni queen killed and the council is killed, so the ps3 takes off from those choices if the backstory is not downloaded

@darkerca Yeah i get that but the big things are all i really care about. I prefered the mass effect experience on PS3 than i did on Xbox, Xbox is more convinent because it has ME1. But i prefered ME2 on my Ps3 it was even more (if you can belive it) captivating than it was on Xbox. I will buy ME3 on PS3 because the only big things i now will effect it from the first game are the Rachni and Kaiden/ashley and counsil dead/alive and Rex dead/alive which you can do in Genisis

@darkerca Bioware released the DLC Genisis for ME 2 on the PC, the interactive comic to go trough what happened im ME1 and decide what Shepard did in those important events. Im pretty sure the PS3 would have that feature as well.

Really great movie - especially since i think you really managed to capture the sense of sadness and even horror lovers of mass effect sometimes feel (especially at moments such as kelly's death and vigil's description of the way in which the protheans were mythodically wiped out by the reapers).
