Ummm no...that's Christina Aguilera. She is the best. Her voice and her song writing is better than Beyonce's. Aguilera has the wider range, more soulful beautiful tone, and more power. Also Christina is an excellent song writer. Many of her songs are very personal and emotive. She has more substance to her music. Ummm no...that's Christina Aguilera. She is the best. Her voice and her song writing is better than Beyonce's. Aguilera has the wider range, more soulful beautiful tone, and more power. Also Christina is an excellent song writer. Many of her songs are very personal and emotive. She has more substance to her music. OKAY. TIME FOR THE TRUTH: Beyonce is NOT the greatest artist of our time. She is ONE of the greatest SINGERS (amongst Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin etc). She's an outstanding singer and that's it. Her dancing is ADEQUATE and entertaining but it's not the BEST. Her music isn't impacting or revolutionary, it's entertaining. If you're the greatest, your music will change culture. She's just limited to being just another entertaining pop singer and dancer who's great but not the GREATEST.

You can hate but why not bring in talent to match hers or compete with her? she is awaiting that. The last time I checked she was the only one to receive the International artist of excellence in 2007. Not Whitney, Not Mariah, Not Tina,etc. No one in the industry right now. @renece100 Winning a whole bunch of awards doesn't mean you're the greatest. It means that between you and your competition, people liked your music the most or your entertainment the most. Beyonce's competition isn't as rigorous as other singers in the 20th century was. There are boxers that have recieved more awards thatn Muhammed Ali. Does that mean they can beat muhammed ali in his prime? No. Beyonce is not better than her predecessors in their prime.

Just because I don't agree that she's the greatest doesn't mean I hate her or a good artist. Beyonce has had more opportunities than most female artist considering the way she grew up, and she took advantage of them and used those opportunities to make her who she is today.

Rewards and records sold are just achievements and many artist have their different means of acquiring them. People say that Michael Jackson is the best, but the Beatles have sold more records and have more awards than Michael. Point is, who someone thinks is the greatest will always be an opinion.

You know, I'm not a Beyonce fan, but it's obvious she has talent. No she is not the best dancer or singer we've ever seen and there have certainly been artists who have done it better, but she is good no less. She works hard, gives her best and it shows. On top of that, she is quite beautiful and that's where I think most people have their issues. She's a good singer and dancer, has great fashion sense and millions of people love her. She's probably the best the pop music world has right now.

Not even Whitney or Janet could maintain Bey's level of perfect breathe and pitch control while performing with the intensity that she does. I do agree with her talent level though; she's become amazing through constant hard work. I don't think she was born with amazing raw talent like whitney or even christina.
