We've stopped 3 of them this year, and we won't stop until every repo operation in this county is shut down. Then contact the bank explain the situation before it gets put out for repo and they will work with you!! Hey boss welcome to the repo game man!! Drop the pins is putting the quick pins in the bottom tow bar and then back up and under a vehicle and behind the metal bumper or rhitch receiver lift and go all in a quick motion. Sure do, drag or disconnect the linkage and pop in neutral. Can even use go jaks to flip it around if feel there is time. But I would usualyy cut a key which I do for most and hook it then get in and put it in neutral and then tow it away somewhere and if it stayed running had it driven away or in this case rehook to the rear and tow it home! Rare on getting keys unless you know they will give them up from setting up the repo. Otherwise my lose the repo and even get hurt!! Best to get it and go...
Repos vary per client and other factors most are 300 but ranges from 200 to 400 per car minimum! Spotters are not used at all companies and just depends on what they are willing to pay. Some offer company chase vehicles some do not some are employees some are IC. Some pay cash and some by payroll check. All varies!
Not dumb at all, the rear is lift in the air so the rear tires are not touching the road at all, only the front two (free rolling) unless the vehcile was a 4 x 4 or all wheel drive. The the rear would turn while I had it in the air but could still tow it away!!
Right they will not skid unless someone was inside hitting the brake pedal then they would have to. They just roll but swing out the opposite way from their turn side.

Thanks bg... the pins are used to get the unit if having a metal bumper and or hitch, get away from the scene then take out the pins and hook the unit with chains to tow safely to the yard! 4X4 does not matter with a sling truck (one advantage) when raising the unit wheels are free to roll and do if 4X4 is engaged. I was in this line of work for 6 years. Honestly you can make any excuse you want for doing it but bottom line is its all about the money. I could'nt really justify taking a vehicle from someone who was in cancer treatment, or who's sole provider just passed away or lost their job due to companies closing or shipping work off to a foreign country. and in some cases a disabled veteran. times are tough for everyone.

I agree... it has gotten to a different level now with todays economy. Believe me I miss the real repos!! The ones hiding units for months and even years intentionally! That is where all the satisfaction was... locating them and then getting the unit without them expecting it.

thanks man, yea I'm learning that most of the people we deal with try to get violent with us all the time, we got surrounded by about 10 guys one night in a apartment complex, drunk mexicans lol...I guess they thought we were gonna be afraid or something, still got the car, which was a pain in the ass, it was a 2000 something dodge mangnum, didn't know the steerin didn't lock, had that bad boy sideways headed for the gate...anyhow great vids man..this is an awesome business..

Hey boss welcome to the repo game man!! Drop the pins is putting the quick pins in the bottom tow bar and then back up and under a vehicle and behind the metal bumper or rhitch receiver lift and go all in a quick motion. A few seconds usually! One of my older vids demos it for you if you care to watch it!! Be safe out there alright!

Sure do, drag or disconnect the linkage and pop in neutral. Can even use go jaks to flip it around if feel there is time. But I would usualyy cut a key which I do for most and hook it then get in and put it in neutral and then tow it away somewhere and if it stayed running had it driven away or in this case rehook to the rear and tow it home! Repos vary per client and other factors most are 300 but ranges from 200 to 400 per car minimum! Spotters are not used at all companies and just depends on what they are willing to pay. Some offer company chase vehicles some do not some are employees some are IC. Some pay cash and some by payroll check. All varies!

With a key code and the key gun you convert the code into cuts and dial them in on the gun with the blank inside and punch em out a cut at a time!

Not dumb at all, the rear is lift in the air so the rear tires are not touching the road at all, only the front two (free rolling) unless the vehcile was a 4 x 4 or all wheel drive. The the rear would turn while I had it in the air but could still tow it away!!

Right they will not skid unless someone was inside hitting the brake pedal then they would have to. They just roll but swing out the opposite way from their turn side.

After watching a bunch of your videos, I figured that the stuff on that show was just for entertainment. I watch it if it is on when I am watching Criminals Who Run From the Law or whatever on TruTV ;) They do things that I would shoot people for doing on my property. I watched 2 eps the other day where guns were drawn on them and a Beamer flipped while they were towing and thought "they aren't very professional." hahaha

Thanks bg... the pins are used to get the unit if having a metal bumper and or hitch, get away from the scene then take out the pins and hook the unit with chains to tow safely to the yard! 4X4 does not matter with a sling truck (one advantage) when raising the unit wheels are free to roll and do if 4X4 is engaged. Also the UC truck is another advantage when following folks and rolling through certain parking lots. Thanks for watching and BTW love your driving in your vids!! Stay safe,
