Thank you for posting this example. Christians are called to speak and demonstrate the Gospel, but not to "sell" it. We can't persuade anyone with dazzling intellectual arguments. That approach suggests that we think we can "help" God do His work. God doesn't "need" our help, and to involve us at all is one of His gifts to us. One plants, another waters but God makes the seed grow. But if we water down His Word in an attempt to make it more appealing, then it's no longer His Word.
We sow as He leads us, when we are obedient. He does the reaping. Someone dropped that on me at a time I needed to hear it (needed to keep my hands off and just trust in Jesus).
That's the most humble thing I've heard it reminds me of the women in the bible washing feet in fact Jesus done it in the gospel of John as you all know.There is a lot of new age spiritaul stuff in the world even here in the UK.I know I've got to be careful not to judge Satan.But his that bitter about losing, he thinks if I can't beat God, what does God love most mankind, so he wants to take as many humans with him as he can.That's why God shorted the days to the end, Jesus says it in the bible.
I would love to wash others feet it is true w God not only heals them but heals you as you serve. I am feeling like I need to bless in some way some others so God can help me in some areas in my life in healing me of some stuff in my heart.
