I saw this movie and absolutely loved it. So, I figured I'd watch "Toy Story 3" and see if it deserved to win Best Animated Film over HTTYD. Well, "Toy Story 3" was good; lots of funny parts, and a few touching parts. But it didn't have that spark, that magic that HTTYD does. This movie just stuck with me a lot more and impacted me more deeply. Hard to explain why.

The cut of clips was pretty spot on and using that track from the video i think amplified the effect of the entire video. That was the best track to use because that song to me symbolized the strengthening the bond between the two characters toothless and hiccup noticed in the original context of the movie their bond was weak therefore the music was slower paced but resembled something greater as when the drawing scene was at the pinnical of the strengthening of their relationship

ok wait apparently the flame that toothless produces is a semi solid mass alight with acetylene/oxygen flame, which is why it explodes when it hits something.

Ok so my dumbed down theory (the best way i can explain) is that acetylene is kept in gas form in the night fury's body until it is ready to produce a flame, the acetylene is brought to the night fury's mouth where it reacts with oxygen to produce a superheated flame of about 3000 degrees Celsius (blue flame), then the night fury spits it out of it's mouth in the form of a flaming gas ball (but since it is so hot it could just be considered plasma, not sure though)

It could just be caused by the shape of what he fires. We can't actually see it because it's engulfed in flames, so for all we know it could be disc shaped. That would actually explain a lot considering if he could give it some rotation it would keep it stable and on course. If it were just a sphere he'd be about as accurate as an old civil war musket. Unless his throat has rifling witch I highly doubt.

@LinkinParkATW i think the blue bit is actually the fire, because blue fire is hotter than yellow fire, so that is maybe why the night fury is more powerful, as it's flame is a higher temperature?

@Crazi4Budgies iMovie is for Macs XD. BUT when making it in windows movie maker, when you export the movie, make sure the settings are for WEB. and that should make it work. Otherwise, make sure your video dimensions are wider then taller. this video is 1280 x 720 HD. along with all my other videos.

Best dang movie I have ever seen, I swear it. Right up there, too, on the list of fave animal characters. Right next to Pikachu, lol. Actually, I think Toothless beat Pikachu. I like this movie so much I thought about getting a Toothless tattoo. Great flick. I hope they make a sequal, and I hope they get the story right. Dreamworks really struck gold, and the last minute edits really helped the movie. I hope Gerard Butler doesn't get greedy. Ah well, onward and upward.
