You can also see remake in kannada as well "Aptamitra" ..... Soundarya too have tried providing justice for the charecter. Amazing movie ..... treat to watch in all the language

Shobana, Jyotika and Vidya all ending with "a" did a fantastic job in Manichithrathazhu, chandramukhi and bhul bhulaiya. though i am not an indian, when i first saw bhulbhulaiya, i was really impressed. when i heard that it was a real story, i was keen and saw chandramukhi. but i havent seen this movie but i want to.

you should watch this one ! this one is the best out of the rest. this one was directed by 5 directors. inch by inch perfection in each and every scenes !

@srk1121srk  i understand. i watched all off them and i think they all were pretty gud. i luv horror movies and to me, the tamil one and the hindi ones were the most scary . so that's y i personally think that the tamil version was the best. and it really doesn't matter how many directors directed the movie ( cough ,cough 81502312).

@missawesomex10 the movie is not meant to be scary. it's a PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER of a ghost who could not rest in peace because she still seeks revenge....

difference of opinion maybe... but i saw that there was definite psychological problems with the character when she was being possessed as Nagaveli.

Amazing performance by Shobhana...esp. from 2:20 the way she gasps and shows her tongue....dubbing artists(was that Ananthavalli or Bhagyalakshmi?) did an amazing performance too!

Dance definitely this one hold the edge..but i prefer raa raa tamil song than this 1.. the kick off itself is of v high intensity in tamil

bhool bhulaiya was a copy of this movie....in my consideration all of them were good...but i believe that i like shobana's acting better than vidhya balan's or jyothika's..and the original is always the best..and since the malayalam version is the one that started first..i like this one the best even though i font understand what they are saying

Bhool Bhulaiyaa has got its own uniqueness !! Its a well made movie too esp for Akshay & Vidya Balan's acting . they both have done a real good job . Even inspite of seeing all the previous versions I did like the hindi version as well . Kudos to Priyadarshan for that. Vidya does very well to match and justify the role Shobana did, Shobana though far too good, even though I dont understand the language, but I cann see the expressions.
