James, why would the Holy Scriptures use these far-out symbolic stories? The Bible says absolutely nothing that a primitive goat header wouldn't believe.
The Bible could have a least (if it were inspired) made some statements or predictions that would have been unknow to Iron Age people.
Well for me the following 3 things make the Bible inspired and from God, 1. A high moral teaching above any of the Iron Age people surrounding them or in the world at that time for that matter. 2. Miracles and with the advent of myself witnessing miracles and when seeing the reason and purpose for miracles in the scripture I see it's divine hand. and 3. Prophecy, the Bible is about 60% prophetic and I would suggest you do a deep Bible study in the prophetic.....
.... after all Jesus says, "behold I have told you in advance so when you see it come to pass you may believe". Now I should say these are the 3 primary things that make me accept the scriptures I have secondary reasons as well. Such as their historical reliability, how during archeological digs we find they support the Bible and not discredit it. ect ect ect
James, concerning these Biblical predictions, don't forget the Bible was written many years after they were made. You might have been scammed here, like a magician who calls a card after he knows what it is.
Have you even read the Bible? I answered this in my video. Jesus said "Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath". God rested not because he needed to but to show an example for us.

James, just for fun, please mention a couple of specific Biblical predictions (prophecies) that have been fulfilled.
Why weren't these prophecies more clear-cut and definiive?—like WWII will break out in 1939 or JFK will be shot in Dallas.

If God is all powerful, why did he need to rest on the seventh day?
