You are cranking way too slow for an accurate test. Your jumper cables look way to small to carry enough amps for the starter motor. You get the best reading at around 180 to 200 rpm. Your engine is nowhere near that. The tester you are using has the capability to read rpm also. Nice tester it's just like mine. Keep up the vids
does all the rotary gurus paint the housing blue??? because my engine is rebuilt by a rotary guru and i noticed he painted the housing the EXACT same color.
@wardogmobius That is the factory Mazda compression tester for a rotary engine. It is one way to make sure that no side or corner seals are sticking before installing the engine but a standard compression tester isn't capable of producing an accurate compression reading on a rotary engine.
