I just bought a 2002 subaru legacy wagon, naturally aspirated, 5-spd manual transmission and i like it. It's got off-road capabilities and cargo capacity of an suv and handling of a car. I really like it.

I just bought a 03 legacy..its fantastic..only has 140K...but it sounds like a diesel engine?...very rough..doesnt sound like a petrol engine at all

@pittapitta haha yea the old subi engines sound a bit like disel engines. Rattly in a way? I think it's because of their horizontal lay out.

thats kida how my buddy's 2.5RS is it got a EJ 247 in it and has like 400 WHP how fast alot fast then 120 mph thats all we know

yeah they are really under rated cars. i have the first gen legacy wagon , is a 1993 model year with the old ej-22 and it has 160,000 miles on it and runs perfect not to mention rather fast considering its age. i was just going 120 mph in it today infact while racing my friends truck. it was a great car when the began making it and its even better now.

This is one car for people who likes the handling of SUV but without the intimidating look of a SUV...

its a good car, we got 1 i've driven it a few times on a parking thing...

it drives fast through corners... allways 4WD eh :D and you can get the very low gear, you accelareta like hell then, it kicks as.

also easy with caravan.

Not compromise for the spec of the car, the only thing is...I wish there is more leg room on the back passenger seat...nearly all Japanese auto maker built car that only fit people that no taller than 6 ft....

Split open your leg while the driver up front hogs all the space? Didn't you feel embarrassed if you are a girl or feeling muscle sore on your thigh if your a guy...so far the only wagon that is spacey I seen so far is from Audi, but cost a lot more than Legacy...
