  • get some cotton gloves to handle coins and handle by the edges only, good habit for anyone who deals with coins to have, good vid though

  • That blue coin collecting book is Whitman but if you have more valuable coins the Dansco albums are more protective of the coins. If you have a really valuable coin it should be certified and contained in a way that preserves them

  • HOLY CRAP I LOOKED THROGH MY OLD 1943 THROGH 1974 PENNY BOOK I HAVE A DOUBLE DYE

  • hey where can i buy that coin penny collection book?

  • I found a Mercury dime in circulation quite recently. What happened was some fool robbed a coin collection and instead of going to a doin dealer to fence his goods, he goes to a pizza joint where he unloads his ill gotten coins. I go in, purchase a slice of pizza, give the clerk some money and get back some interesting coins in exchange!! Yes, some people really ARE that stupid. I put that Mercury Dime into my collection. It's been close to fifty years since I have seen those in circulation!!

  • 1943 S STEEL PENNIE

  • penis or pines?

  • I sense cuties.

  • i just found a1941 and 1942 and 1944 damn

  • Cutie Wheat Pennys

  • cool

  • Thank you.

  • I love the books!! where did you get them, Im about to start my collection :) Great job!

  • Thank you for you comments=)

I bought mine from a local coin dealer, but you find them online.

  • are you a coin collecter? do you sell?

    or trade

  • Yes I do collect. No I don't sell or trade.

  • Nice vid. Sweet collection, you have some very nice coins. I have a question though aren't Indian head cents and the Flying Eagle cents different? it sounded like you said the Flying Eagle was just another type of Indian head cent.

  • I'm not sure if I'm reposting this. Flying eagles are different. The obvious coin designs and also that eagles are made of copper, but indian heads are made of bronze I think.

  • r u missing any?

  • Yeah. Some key dates.

  • how much is a 1907 indian head penny worth?

  • It depends on the quality of it.

  • i just found out today that i have a Lincoln Penny from 1962-Denver and its uncirculated

  • Great. Keep it out of harm's way.

  • Good find.

  • i have a 1899 penny with a indian face on one side and one cent printed on the other side what is it worth

  • I hate to be disapointing, but it's probably worth only about a dollar.

  • like 50 or 75 dollars

  • y is it good luck to have the 1909 vdb upside down

  • That was just a joke. Just something I did.

  • I'm glad I could be of service friend=)

  • I'm having a hard time distinguishing between all of the different 1982's. Any advice?

  • Do you mean you have several 1892( indian head pannies) pennies?

The only thing I can think of is a 10x magnifying lens and good lighting.

  • I think you misread the comment. 1982, the one with several different versions. : ]

  • Ooooooh. Got ya friend=)

My knowledge on coinage is limited. I didn't know there were a few versions of it. I would recomond researching it on Yahoo. You'll find pictures and information for sure.

  • Thanks! : ]

  • I hate to discourage you, but they are common wheat pennies. Unless they were professionally garded then they would be worth about 2 cents a piece to a coin dealer.

  • certified 1969 S penny is worth $125,000 only 2-3 dozen known

  • Realy. Didn't know that. I'll keep my eyes open for a new key date:)

  • hey what is a 1942 penny, a1953S penny, and a1952S penny worth?

  • Looking at Ebay will get you auction rates. Red booking them though they aren't worth anything realy. But hold onto them because they are made of copper. If legislation ever passes an act to abolish the penny, all copper ones can be melted. Best of luck to you.

  • a dude your videos are great....but uumm are the folders worth any thing when they are completed????? and is the 1909 s...."no vdb" really worth 50 bucks???

  • Well, A complete set is always good. I think the price will come up a bit if you have a "full set".

Yeah a 9 s is about $50-$100. I have the 9 and 9vdb. They are cool to own because they only cost about a dollar, but I found mine in a grab bag.

    Happy hunting=)

  • could you tell me where you got your coin albums?

  • I bought/buy mine from coin stores, butyou can search online for coins and coin supplies.

  • Does your album have san-fran mints

  • Yeah

  • i have 4 of 1943 zinc pinnies

  • Very cool =)

  • Where do you buy those pennie albums and how much do they cost?

  • where did you find your 1909 vdb penny

  • Sometimes you'll see "grab bags" of wheat pennies. A bag of them, not knowing the dates or mint marks.

I was lucky enough to find one in one of those grab bags. One of my favorite coins. I have 2 of the 4 1909 pennies.

  • how much for one 1909 penny?

  • Anywhere from 1 to 15 dollars.

  • in 1982.how can u tell the difference between large and small date and copper and zinc?

  • Thats still difficult for me. I realy can;t tell to be honest. I think with mints, metal, and date size there are 7 different 1982.

  • V.D.B. stands for Victor David Brenner.

  • Yeah it does. I think he scuplted both the front and back of the penny. I was thrilled when I found my 9 vdb

  • an easy way to tell if your copper cent is merely a copper-plated steel penny is to test it with a magnet. If the magnet sticks to the penny, it's made of steel which has been dipped or plated in copper. those are worth about 15 cents as a novelty item.

  • Very true. My uncles own a few.

  • ummmmm koool roflmao i have a small collection. imo u have a kool colection

  • ummmmm thank you.

  • in 2009 there will be a new penny coming out.

  • It makes sence. That would make Abe 200 years old. Thaks for tellng me. Now I have something to research.

  • if the 1856 is not a copy it is worth $1,000

  • Like I said, I'm not exactly sure. I doubt it is 1856:) It's good to see you're reading up.

  • what years are the eagle coins

  • I'm not exaclty sure, but I think they are 1856 and 1857.

  • Oh wow. Good deal.

I got 2 flying eagles for a dollar a piece. I could get others, but one guy I buy from wants around 8 dollars a piece. My intrist right now are Barbera dimes and quaters. Happy hunting!

  • i recently bought a set of 70 coins that came with indians, good condition wheats, buffalo nickles, regular silver nickles, quarters, and mercury dimes all for $12.00. With 70 more coins, it'll enhance my collection, maybe a bit closer to urs :). Do u think $12 dollars was worth the money. I think so but im not 100% sure...

  • The "value" of a coin or coins is different for alot of reasons. My grandfather gave me two silver dollars. He has passed, and they are pricless to me. I found a semmi key date indian head penny in spare change. Another pricless one. For the silver contect with what you spent, it sounds fair on the monitory end though. Congrats:)

  • I remember finding a 1920 penny in a bucket of 700 pennies lol. I have 6 wheats and one indian. where can u get more coins besides internet? Other coins i hav is a 1967 silver half dollar, 3 24k gold plated state quarters, and a couple of silver dimes from 1946 and 1949. So if u kno where to get more pennies can u reply?

  • What I could suggest sincerly is the yellow pages. I found two shops that way and had good success. You have a couple good ones as is. Silver coins and early wheats are not easy to find. Not expensive in the stores but rarely found in pocket change. One time I did find an 1869 indian head in change though. Best find of my life.

    Good luck to you frined.

    JR

  • You might also want to check any magor book stores. They sometmies carry the books you see in my videos for current circulated coinage. You can pick up "the big red book" too".

  • sorry its taking me so long to post my video of my collection, im waiting for some more old silver coins to come next week and eventually I will post them after I get them.

  • No problm at all. Put it up when you're ready.

  • i am glad about the indian cent cause at the coin shop they had a couple of eagle cent and i got the cheapest

  • You did very well. You're collecting to collect, not for money.

  • i got LINCOLN #2 set and in case i got indian head cents and its with the eagle cent

  • You're doing realy well with your collection. I'm proud of you. Just don't let school or other responcibilities slip.

  • That is a regular treasure hunt. You might want to get one of those penny coin books now, and hold onto the extra date coins.

    Keep searching!

  • i just got 200 wheat pennies

  • wow i got the same coin albums and almost the same coins missing i have a few more semi key dates but u got more indian head and shield. ill b making a video soon of my whole coin and currency collection.

  • You'll get the coins you need in time I'm sure. I look foward to seeing the video. Feel free to send it to me or put it as a responce.

  • ok ill b making it tomm of all my coins and currency i should have it by sunday.

  • Ugh, I meant after!

    After 1958

  • Where is your 1877 cent?

  • In my bank safe.

  • i opened 4 rolls of pennies and found a 1925 wheat penny

  • Hold onto it. Never give up a coin you need. It's bad coin luck.

  • at the money show, for pennies, i got a 1844 large cent, a 1895 indian penny, 2 wheat pennies,and a 2007 penny

  • A regular coin hound. Just keep your collection organized.

  • woops! i spelt penny wrong

  • Look up steel pennies on the internet and you'll learn about why they were made with steel for that year.

Don't worry about spelling. I'm awful at it.

  • i also have a 1943 steel pennie
