  • Ah, something like the ex-up of the yamaha bikes. I didn't know porsches have that. I think if you take it out the sound could be better but the performance would be worst at low rpms!

  • @leogagliardigmail The Porsche has got valves in the exhausts. The valves open at about 4000 rpm.. the sound gets louder at that moment.. This Porsche doesn't have those valves anymore, so the sound is loud at every rpm! :D

  • @TypeRacer8 Oh, something like the ex-up system of the yamaha bikes. That valves make the exhaust waves to be tuned to produce a suction or vacuum (because of the inertia) from inside the cylinders just at the moment the exhaust valves are opened. Then, it helps to extract gases improving the performance. So, I think it surely sounds louder at the cost of HPs. Is more reasonable to leave that valves working and use a microphone with a loudspeaker! LOL
