  • It was a hard foul but Nash took a few steps after the hit and then smashes into the scorers table with an epic Ginobs flop.

  • Geesh...that wasn't a hard check. Can you say flop?

  • cheap shot rob lol cheap shot horry bob the bitch lol!

  • Mean and it turned out to be damn important n Clutch!

  • Fuck Whorey.

  • Nash shoulda ducked underneath the check

  • Robert Horry would'nt let this Point Guard from keeping him from winning another Title. That wasnt a Accident

  • Spurs or no one bitches

  • How was that a flop, nash was going full speed and got blasted

  • ah the year my hometown suns got screwed out of a championship by payed off refs

  • @therealdavewhalen bron woulda beat yall im sure, ur D wouldnt have stopped him liked the spurs did.

  • you can see why everyone hates the spurs

  • That's dumbest fucking rule to not come from the bench I mean who's not going to come help their fucking teammate that lost us the fucking series

  • Hey Bob, this isn't football.

  • robert horry pretty much won the series for the spurs because when barbosa and STAT cleared the bench, they got suspended. So in the end, it was actually a pretty smart move from horry

  • raja bell should of had a bigger go at horry what a gutless $%^$

  • It doesn't matter if it was a cheap shot it was still a BIG cheap shot, because it caused Amare to get suspended which gave the Spurs an upper hand and eventually led to them winning the series. So guess what people he is still big shot Rob, respect his gangsta lol and I don't even have to mention the shot against Kings or the one against the Pistons.

  • That play was bullshit i dont care what team u root for! If ur best player gets knocked down like that u will have a reaction! maybe u wont cuse ur a fag! Also those rules were put in because of the brawl in Nov 04 when players were in the stands fighting fans. Bottom line dont suspend players for having a human reaction and stepping on the court 4 a few secs. Suspend them if they go into the stands.

  • @ Scotts30StrikesBack Fuck u! U fucking FAG!

  • lol nash is a hollywood actor

  • What a Joke? The NBA is a joke, when is ok for one of your best players to get checked on the floor and u get up in a honest human reaction and then u get suspended? What a fucking Joke!

  • @mcq12001 idiot there are rules in place to keep players safe moron

  • It was a hard tough PO foul. Rob himself had them so many times but he never complained and got 7 rings!

  • f**k you horry, that's the only thing you'll be remembered fpr

  • @jyap9675 HE has 7 rings you dumb ass how is that all he'll be remembered for?

  • Cheap shot Bob in full display. That was totally uncalled for.

  • best team EVER

  • Yeah right MANU Ginobli is a dirty player who constantly travels.. The spurs was always a dirty team especially that bumm bruce bowen.. The only honest player on the team was Tim Duncan so maybe you should get your facts straight b4 u start dick eating.

  • This whole thing was epic for all the wrong reasons!

God I wish Horry and most of all that piece of shit Bruce Bowen had gotten their due justice!

  • @tobbockus069 dude, stfu, why dont u go back to san antonio and go find a life, smartass

  • Typical Nig cheap shot !

  • Suns fans forget that the Spurs won the series 4-2, w/ only one game where the Suns players were suspended. Meaning the Spurs won 3 of 5 games at full-strength. Would the Suns have won two more at full-strength? Statistically, maybe 20-25%. The suspensions didn't cost the Suns the series. They cost the Suns A 20-25% CHANCE of winning the series. There is a difference.

  • I love how the phoenix suns have never won a championship

  • Sure there was a foul but Nash only got hurt becuase he flopped.

  • NBA players play up the fouls so bad. He got checked into PADDING. This is one of the many reasons I hate the NBA.

  • SUNS ALL DAY

  • Big Shot Bob, the Hits...Just...Keep..on...Coming, Wooooooooooooooo!!!!! Steve Nash doing his best Vlade Divac's impersonation & the shitbox Suns go down in Flames like always!! Good regular season team, terrible playoff team. They should've kept J-Kidd, at least he got his eventually!!

  • @tobbockus069 Well, at least the Suns had enough pride to never get swept by the Spurs. Good regular season team, terrible playoff team. Let's see, the Suns swept the Spurs in the second round, then the following year the Spurs run away with the best record and get bounced by the Grizzlies in the first round. Crazy thing is the Spurs were a miracle three away from being swept again. Home court advantage throughout the playoffs and they couldn't get past the first round. Good stuff

  • notice how Steve Nash, after being fouled ridiculously hard, immediately gets up to try to stop the fight so that his teammates don't get suspended. What a hero.

  • Robert Horry is my hero.

  • WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WILL SMITH!?!?

  • NBA players know the rules. They are reminded frequently simple as that. Stoudamire knew better and so did Diaw

  • fuck robert horry.

  • i like the reporters at 1:08 they were like damn i didnt no this came in 3D

  • yeah faggots can call the spurs dirty and w/e but atleast we don't get even dirtier help from gambling refs like Tim Donaghy. Fucking los angeles fakers won the 02 with BULLSHIT. and nash def. flopped a little Horry didn't even push him that hard.

  • @abirox365 your blind, how can you flop when your running FULL SPEED, and Horry doesn't even try to play standard defense he check's him with his shoulder, you clearly see Nash's momentum take him all the way to the check in stand. Let's be real bro

  • Comment removed

  • what? Horry was just talking to Nash.... And Spurs are not dirty. They are champions. So quit yalls fuckn hating.

  • @SirSmokesAlot210 So Your saying this was an accident. They are dirty!!

  • @XxLegitEckoSniperxX it was a hard foul no doubt. but what do u expect? Nash is running full speed when he dosent have to and Horry being as big as he is. it looks to me Horry thought about taking a charge since Nash was running up the court like a mad man but Robert was way to slow getting there. when he realized Nash had him beat the only way he could have made the foul was to lower his shoulder. dont think it was on purpose. it just looked bad.

  • @SirSmokesAlot210 just look at bruce bowen you idiot. their a dirty team.

  • @sunnyboy8644 ur stupid. ur mom is dirty.

  • @SirSmokesAlot210 lol nice come back kid, you fucking retard.

  • @sunnyboy8644 ill come on ur moms back... fuck off

  • nothing against nash but he would of got his ass kicked...

  • Thanks Robert :)

  • @theswatmaster500 no its just fact, bowen stepped under every jumpshot, dont deny it

  • nash gets an oscar for acting like he just got murdered

  • Spurs suck!

  • Fuck Spurs.. the most dirty team in the history of basketball, with all the faggots Timy the SuperGay, Parker, this big fuck Bowen and Horry..

  • @tweek23el How would you know faggot ?

  • FML. I get depressed everytime I see this.....Poor Steve got hurt the whole series.. Suns would have owned the cavs.

And @hamzaahmed Marion in place of bell. Did you see marion's performance in game 5?

  • Raja Bell, Steve Nash and Amare that's a real big 3

  • Steve Nash is one of the greatest PGs ever so quit hating... Got one stat line to shut you all up, 50/40/90 all the time baby :)

  • Steve Nash is so soft

  • Oh yeah this that series when amarie was killing Tim in an iso all game. Before amarie got hurt. He is still good but does not have the same flexibility and strength. I got to find this whole series on tape and watch it.

  • and really? People think he was faking? Do you know who Steve Nash is?

  • The thing is, yeah, I'm sure Horry is a nice guy and all, but it was so on purpose! Horry wasn't a key piece in the Spurs rotation so they pulled him off the bench for this purpose and this purpose only. It was a crummy, dirty thing to do. It cost Phoenix the championship and it sucked.

  • @bonniecal02 steve nash fake it idiot

  • @Scotts30StrikesBack wtf were u watching?

  • @NicoNiyon don't worry fucking bout it go spurs go

  • @Scotts30StrikesBack im not gonna be ignorant and call u names but dude that comment made no fucking sense

  • @NicoNiyon get lost faggot stay out of people coversations moron and learn what makes sense you retarded bitch ge lost

  • @Scotts30StrikesBack hahaha i guess everyone knows who the bigger person is. (:

  • @NicoNiyon you sound fucking gay fool get lost before i kick your queer ass you little sissy

  • @Scotts30StrikesBack hahahaha why so butt hurt?

  • Hahahaa. Spurs OWN Fakers.

  • @madhazzer FUCK U

  • i think nash waz fakin tht he got hert

  • white boys have no buesiness playin in the NBA anyway.

  • @killerdugong People like you have no business being on Youtube or near a computer, for that matter.

  • Many people talking about Robert Horry, probably never knew what his personality was.. Horry was a cool dude, I'm SURE he didnt meant for this to happen.

  • @ToxicxShots yep was not so popular but was a 8 time champion right?

  • @sanleandro1000 I hate how some people doesnt know that .

  • @sanleandro1000 i now almost every person has got in a argument /fight in the nba probaly

  • did u record this with a lameass comment?

  • FUCK ROBERT HORRY!!!!!!

  • fuck you fuck you fuck you Robert whorry you piece of shit robert horry dam-it I wish I could say this to your worthless piece of shit face. Why the hell would they suspend Amare? WHY? HE TRIED TO BRAKE UP THE FIGHT!!!

  • Spurs still would have won the series even if there was no suspenion! SPURS own suns....4rings>0

  • yeah it was a dirty play by horry but Nash really selled it. looks like he was blasted by a shotgun.

  • @SithLord956 I don't tihnk Nash faked it at all. Check out the difference between Horry and Nash. Nash looks like a kid compared to Horry. Horry is taller, heavier, overally bigger, and much stronger. Plus that wasn't a soft poke, that was a violent hip check. Plus, do you think Nash would risk injury by faking that one, especially considering the impotance of upcoming games and that he was already "beaten up" as commentator said?

  • BTW the next year, SPURS 4-1 over PHX, that put most of this talk to rest IMO. Spurs continuosly in their prime beat up PHX, period.

  • its all part of the game check him

  • Nash is 1000x better than Will Smith and he has no ring. This is the ultimate proof that championships are not a good way to measure quality (but LeBrick jokes are still valid).

  • Robert horry should be called Robert horrible

  • @basketball1591 yeah too bad Robert Horrible has 7 rings on teams that he helped win those titles. So quit being jealous of a good player who actually knew how to win titles. You're gonna tell me you never got frustrated in a game and occasionally got a bit rough? haha, if you deny it, you're just in denial, we all do sometimes. but he has SEVEN RINGS. More than any other player since the Bill Russell era in the 1960's....

  • What a dirty team. The Cincinnati Bengals of the NBA. Jes thugs in uniform.

  • @presidential2OIO What about the Denver Thugs?

  • @presidential2OIO The spurs are dirty, REALLY. I admit Horry did a stupid cheap shot against nash but the Spurs are not dirty at all. Have u seen the celtics and lakers play those are some dirty guys. Duncan,Parker and Ginobli are like the nicest guys ever. they never try to fight or cause trouble like artest or the other NBA thugs. David Robinson is a saint. Ginobli flops alot but would never fight a guy. Do u ppl even watch basketball?

  • @hamzaahmed16 I love how you fail to mention Bruce Bowens dirty ass

  • @92PhoenixSuns i admit Bruce Bowen is dirty also but he would never fight any1 or act like a thug. He cheats sometimes but thats just within the game. Basketball is a hard competitive sport you gotta do what it takes to win. A lot of players in the NBA are dirty if you havent noticed

  • @hamzaahmed16 Yeah i've definately noticed that, but nobody is as consistent as Bowen. But anyways i wish that somebody could prove an example of REALLY PLAYING GOOD CLEAN BASKETBALL to win instead retreating to dirty plays. I don't care what sort of situation the team is in. You know what i'm sayin?

  • @92PhoenixSuns What about the Mavs? they played clean the entire time and still beat the dirty lakers. Odom,Artest and Bynum all got cheap shots but the Mavs still won, it shows you cant cheat to win.

  • @hamzaahmed16 Doing what it takes to win does not justify sticking your feet under an opposing player while he is coming down. There may be a few players in the league that are dirty but most play defense honestly without resorting to cheap tactics to make yourself appear to be a stopper. But I can't blame Bruce Bowen I guess. The only way he made a career for himself in the NBA was by playing dirty.

  • @hamzaahmed16 Celtics don't even play dirty.

  • @hamzaahmed16 how about bowen? spurs arent dirty but they had some dirty players, but thats the name of the game

  • @cluu96 bowen was never that dirty, he was just physical, like KG, they played defence physically, if they played in the 80's they wouldnt be considered dirty, but coz the game isnt as physical as it is now, theyre considered dirty, when really, theyre old school

  • @hamzaahmed16 i think you meant to say "duncan parker and ginobli are like the biggest pussies in the league"

  • what do you aspect for the dirtiest team in the history of basketball

  • @kingeclectricpenguin Your an idiot. Dirtiest team? More like the classiest. They dont trash talk or start fights with anybody. Umad cause we won rings bra?

  • @iSherberti i admit you have won championships with ginobblis chronic flops

  • @kingeclectricpenguin I admit that you are a cry baby since you make excuses and have no campionships.

  • @kingeclectricpenguin I think the Bad Boys of the Detroit Pistons from the 1980's claimed that title. & the Spurs are known as one of the most classy teams in the league because they don't have off court drama, they don't get in fights & when was the last time you heard them trash talk during an interview or to the media? oh yeah that's right, almost 20 years! & that was when Dennis Rodman & Rod Strickland were there. get over yourself dude. The Spurs have won 4 times & the Suns have NEVER won!

  • Cheap Shot Rob.

  • i miss the old spurs :(. GO SPURS GO

  • It's always the 6'10 guys picking on the 5'11 guys...

  • shut up!! maggots, you're like a bunch of stupids arguing in a thing that you aren't even involve, and also this video is 4 years ago it doesn't even a big deal now.

  • All of you motherfuckers who say steve nash flopped or anything of the sort are a bunch of dumb asses. if amare & diaw aren't suspended the suns win the series, and suns win the championship simple as that

  • @1Jault well considering Nash ADMITTED he flopped what does that make you? There's no guarantee the Suns would've won anyway.

  • @kylederrick1 when did he admit that i would love to see this video

  • @92PhoenixSuns Ask and you shall receive.... w w w.poundingtherock.c o m/2010/6/25/1537688/steve-nash-finally-admits (make sure you type w w w and .c o m the right way or it won't show up i had to type it like that cause you can't post links in the comments for whatever reason.) If not just google "steve nash finally admits to flopping"

  • @1Jault FACT is that the Suns lost the series and made no Finals appearances in the Nash era. All the hypotheticals are pathetic. Suns has ZERO titles bitch.

  • @1Jault

lollll Do you really think that Boris Diaw is the difference between winning and losing a championship?

  • @31MillerTime31 Stoudemire was suspended. Take away your power forward and center and see how your team fares in a pivotal playoff game.

  • Horry = 7 rings > Nash = 0 rings

  • steve trash

  • Dumbest rule in the game is the reason for steve nash having no ring right now. Cant contain emotion like that. Horry did what he had to do.

  • I agree I hate the spurs

  • @13borisNYK it may stink, but that's what happens when your team loses to the same team over and over again....now your team did beat the Spurs last year in 2010, and as much as it pains me to say, I applaud you, because the Suns were better last year. But the fact will always remain that the Spurs have 4 rings and the Suns have ZERO. Not to mention that the Spurs have beaten the Suns 4 times in the last 5 playoff meetings (going back to 2003)....best of luck getting to the playoffs next year...

  • @uhscoyotes07 yeah i definitely do agree with you that defense is the way to go. my point was just that the suns would of proved that is was in fact atleast POSSIBLE and seeing that possibility i think many teams would of adopted the system...

  • This series was when I became a true Suns fan.

Also, this series was when I started hating the Spurs.

The Suns should have won the title that year.

  • @romanthemusician The better team will always win a 7 game series, plain and simple....unfortunately, the Suns have only been the better team once in the last 5 playoff meetings....and the Spurs have 4 titles, and the Suns have ZERO.....sorry, better luck getting to the playoffs next year.....

  • steve nash is the strongest player in the NBA

not in strengh but because he has resisted so much

an elbow in the face by karl malone

    a broken nose against parker

    a bloody lip against Indiana

and one of the hardest fouls I have seen, by Robert Horry

  • it wasn't even a hard hit.

whenever u see nash get fouled.. he's fucking flying all over the place.

theres NO WAY a bump like that sends you flying like that.. my baby brother wouldn't fly like that if horry bumped him

  • What a flop by Nash!!

  • @jhlbjaaa what a flop? are you fucking kidding me? HE GOT BODY CHECKED INTO THE FUCKING SCORERS TABLE

  • FUCK YOU ROBERT HORRY!

  • @tothebeaty0 too bad Robert Horry has 7 championship rings.....haha!!

  • @uhscoyotes07 so what?

  • @uhscoyotes07 Too bad Robert Horry is a ring chaser. how many different teams has he been on?

  • @1Jault Ha ha. A Ring Chaser? 1st of all, a ring chaser implies someone who simply goes to a team for a championship and sits on their bench. Robert Horry was a contributor on all 3 teams he played on, because each of his teams would not have won their championships without him, especially with how good he was in the playoffs. You can NOT deny how good he was in the playoffs. So forgive me for not feeling bad that you're bitter that he has more rings than anyone on your team ever will combined.

  • @uhscoyotes07 dude, shut the fuck up. are you fucking kidding me? robert horry was a contributor? hahaha dude, must be a spurs fan

  • @1Jault yeah he was a contributor, there is no way to deny it. look at what he did for Houston, LA (and I don't like LA) and San Antonio. Especially in the playoffs. Without him, some of those championship teams don't win it. YOU can NOT Deny it. He was a contributor on each and every championship team because he came through in the clutch each and every time. Case Closed, You're Wrong....

  • this cost Phoenix the championship

  • @BoxOfOranges84 how? please explain how? because amare the dumb gorilla got off the bench when EVERYONE knew you don't do that, especially after that brawl at the palace.

was it because they got suspended for the rest of the series? oh wait, it was only 1 game

so what did the suns do in game 6? ummm they lost again..great teams, championships teams..respond

the suns, the regular season champs of every year, just didn't have it you know the suns even had home court advantage right?

  • @BoxOfOranges84 no, their lack of efficient defense cost them the championship that year, just like every year they played the Spurs from 2003-2008! There's no denying the Spurs have had the Sun's number the last decade. You can't deny that, only once have y'all even beat us, vs the 4 previous times the Spurs won a grand total of 16-6. Just though you would want to know.

  • @BoxOfOranges84 they won the game. im pretty sure that cost them nothing.

  • it's funny, he definitely flopped thinking he was helping the team but he actually killed them... they had a huge chance to win it all that year... their last one

  • i remember this, i was like uhhhh!!! Bitch!!!

    im a lakers fan

  • did you see nash get right back up and go at horry?

  • he flopped... watch it several times and you can see that he throw himself into the side lines.

  • this is what nash wanted why did he dribble outside of the middle ??

  • This hip-check changed NBA basketball forever. Think about it

    - The Suns probably go on to win this series and then most likely win the NBA Championship

    - People see that it IS possible to win a championship in D'antoni's system and many coaches decide to duplicate his system

    - The NBA adopts a high pace - high scoring new way of playing the game

  • @JRoDBeatsS interesting take.

  • @JRoDBeatsS yeah, but how many of those 'great offensive' teams actually win the championship? If you look at history, you'll see that most of the teams who win are better defensively than offensively. Like they say: "Offense wins games, Defense wins championships". Also, Phoenix had practically won the game before the hip check at the end (that's what I assume you meant by the hip check changing the game, but I may be wrong, sorry) But in the end, the better team always wins a 7 game series....

  • @uhscoyotes07 yeah i definitely do agree with you that defense is the way to go. my point was just that the suns would of proved that is was in fact atleast POSSIBLE and seeing that possibility i think many teams would of adopted the system...

  • @JRoDBeatsS lol, that's a crazy fantasy you got going there...the suns had their best chance to win with amare on the bench. the spurs won because they are champions..if they would have lost game 5, they would have came back, like champions..the suns never had enough to beat a real team like the spurs. if roles were reversed, and the spurs lost their most over rated player, oops i mean best player, they would have overcame.

the spurs lost 4 games that playoff year....4

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 those spurs teams were great im not denying that, but in my opinion i feel that the suns would of pulled that series off...before amare came to the knicks i thought the same as you and felt he was overrated but watching him play everyday i've realized that he is a beast...to say that if the roles were reversed and the spurs lost a player of amare's stature that they would of overcame it is highly unlikely...spurs won it all and yes they were great but idk. agree to disagree

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 well said, that's about as good as anyone can say it. 16-4 is just good when you're in the playoffs. no denying a great team can win 16 games and only lose 4 in the playoffs.

  • @JRoDBeatsS You have summarised it perfectly, bro.

  • @JRoDBeatsS could've should've would've....spurs won and thats the bottom line, a fast paced team can't win the finals, look at what happened to Miami

  • @JRoDBeatsS it was just a bullshit series all together. im a mavs fan, so i hate the spurs, but i also dislike the suns. but 04-08, the nba was almost like the wwe, alot of phantom calls in the playoffs, lots of flopping and just overall bad officiating. this series had so much bs, like bruce bowen trying to trip amare everytime he went for a dunk or layup, also bowen kneeing nash to the groin.

  • @itsyaboy41 dude, be happy your team even has 1 title now. You're jealous of the fact that from 2003 to 2008, the Spurs were the most dominant team in the league. You know it, I know it and your grandma knows it. 3 titles plus only 1 miracle shot by Fisher (.4 in 04), and a dumb Ginobili foul on YOUR Nowitski in 06 late in game 7 away from 2 more trips to the Finals. The Spurs were dominant, the Mavs were NOT. So quit complaining that the Spurs actually played defense YOUR Mavericks NEVER did!

  • @uhscoyotes07 mavs would beat you guys in 2003 if dirk didnt hurt his ankle driving on tim duncan. the only reason you guys won was cause the league protected tim duncan, and yea you guys played defense, but it was alot of flopping involved in it too. that flopping shit doesnt work anymore cause its all about physicality in the playoffs since 2008 and your spurs are soft. tim duncan got manhandled by marc gasol, ginobili was a no show, prolly cause his flops didnt work anymore same wit parker

  • @JRoDBeatsS despite this hip check thing (which was a big deal), the Suns still probably don't beat the Spurs in this series. The problem w/the Suns when they played the Spurs was that they relied too much on offense while the Spurs were always good at playing defense. Offense may win games, but ONLY DEFENSE wins championships. That's why the Spurs beat the Suns EVERY time until the Suns finally played some defense in 2010. You know this to be true & a bigger part of the series than hipchecking.

  • @JRoDBeatsS IMO the Spurs blew that game and were not going to lose that game! They were in control and blew that game when they were going to be up 3-1, instead it's 2-2 so no guarantees the SUns win that series if they don't get stupid and come off the bench! But I see what you are saying there.

  • @onblock7 Yeah and I get where Spur fans are coming from as well but from what I remember my thinking was that the suns losing their players (imo) cost them that series. I'm neither a Suns or Spurs fan, but not having one of your best players kills you and that's just a fact. Those Spurs teams were great no doubt about it but that year the Suns could of won it all - and imo - would of if not for the suspensions. I get the whole defense argument but lets not forget the 80's Lakers

  • @JRoDBeatsS Maybe, time won't tell now though because it's the past and the series was 2-2 so that will never be known! The Spurs did win game 6 though without Horry and the Suns were full that game! Spurs controlled it! They were in control of this game as well, no clue how they blew a lead when they could have been up 3-1 here and AT HOME! If that happens we are not discussing this or guessing today. All I am saying is Suns were never in control of the series, just tied.

  • That was the suns year.

  • @LittleLead as I recall it was the Spurs' year since they won it all by going 16-4 in the playoffs.

  • @uhscoyotes07 Yea I guess with all the cheapshots that were done the Spurs' ended up winning that year. But if you're an NBA fan you know that was the Suns' year. This hipcheck ruined it...

  • @LittleLead and how does that one play ruin it for you? as I recall, the Spurs had already won twice in the series and then won game 6 when both Stoudemire and Diaw were back (if you want to complain about not having them in game 5 for stepping on the court, which they knew was against the rules). the Suns had homecourt advantage yet still lost in 6? You're going to say that was the Suns' year? They may have had the better regular season record, but the better team always wins a 7 game series!
