with practice you'll be as good as Sarah & you might even be able to do your own improvisation.. My advice to you is to open your mouth better when you sing so that your voice would come out clearer & without flats especially at the high notes..

She doesn't crack per say.

What she does is push the breath and chest voice while she is in one register moving to another-the same technique is used in yodeling. It creates the trademark "flip" that you hear between the notes, as the anatomy of the throat adjusts to the rush of air and the singers adjustment to change to the second register.

It goes without saying that to master this technique like her is far from easy.
