The ref did the right thing because kimbo didnt know how to defend himself in that situation but you can clearly see he was still trying to defend himself and jumped right up when the ref stopped it. if kimbo would have started out like most fighting other amatuer mmaers hed be much more experienced i personally think he did great of course people say oh he had no skill duh he was new to MMA and they threw him in there with ppl who werent but were kind of low ranked with time and practice he could easily be great he has very good boxing skills and has decent speed for his size
