Guys. This is a SPANISH film, so that's why the title is Katmandú, not Kathmandu. Cuz in Spanish it's said KATMANDÚ. Got it?

@MrDavidvmr Para todos los que estáis esperando a verla fuera de España... Es lineal, plana, para la época que estamos casi diría costumbrista... Los personajes son un trailer de sí mismos. Al ser española, por supuesto tenemos una moralina con la que estar de acuerdo o no, pero lo cierto es que ha sido muy mal defendida durante la película. Ni siquiera la fotografía está a la altura (imperdonable en los exteriores en los que ha sido rodada). Para mí; un canto al egoísmo de la protagonista.

Yo estuve trabajand con el Gobierno Tibetano en el barrio que se ve en la película, en la Gran Estupa de Shuayambunath (o como se escriba). Espero que salga el Tibetan Reception Centre de Katmandú, que está en el otro extremo de la cuidad. Cuántos recuerdos, espero ver la película, pero no sé si la estrenarán en Edimburgo.

looks good! i have a feeling that the plot also consists issues regarding trafficking of girls along with child labour. just guessing!

and let's not make a huge deal considering the spelling of the city, as LobsangSSR has already explained. at least someone's making a movie that looks quite promising (the sceneries look beautiful by the way) and hopefully this will arise more interest in Nepal from other nations in terms of both film-making and social work. can't wait to watch it :D

It is written Katmandu because its the Spanish way of writing it, notice also the accent on the "u". For the original English version I'm sure they will write it the right way.
