May I ask you how ..... Or what software you used to " film " all that? I've seen several videos on youtube about Ubuntu, and they all are able to film what they do, zoom in and so on... As I asked. What software do you use to do that?

You need to update your videos, 10.04 doesn't have Cursor Selection.

I'm having this weird problem where I can change my cursor, I only see my selected cursor when I'm hovering within a window, if my cursor goes up to my title bar or hovers over my gnome taskbar (or AWN) or the desktop wallpaper, than I see the white generic one

@hippiechickie18 Its still is a bit buggy but I changed mouse themes actually easier by installing the Mouse Tool available in the software center.

@PCWizKid If you're talking about cursor selection, I installed it but the buttons don't work. It just stands there on my screen like a dead body.

while in file browser, go to edit>prefrences. then tick off where it says "shows hidden files" or something like that. there ya go

A couple of questions: How stable is ubuntu compared to vista? How well does it run with games and programs? Is it safe to install it, and is it easy to go back to vista? ( i've made a backup already, and tried the "test version" of ubuntu)

Im having problems with this, when i change my cursor and click apply and ok. The cursor does change to what i wanted BUT when i reboot the computer it switches back to default, it happens every time i reboot. Help?

Thats what I thought, but in my case I have to always restart my session, then it applies the change.

I think its all the manual customization I have done to the system, that the automated ways dont always work. At times I still find this release a little buggy.
