  • Is sticky rice the same thing as the glutinous rice that you use in some of your other recipes?

  • mukhang champorado..hehe

  • parang super basa ng biko na yan...lol...

  • how did you steam that rice?

  • @3344utube cook it like a regular rice...

  • I'll make this next time. I'm making the Cassava cake at the moment. I hope it turns out the way yours did.

  • Malaking Thank you talaga sa

iyong blog and video. Dahil dito mga

Pinoy food cravings ay nasa-satisfy around the globe :).

Sa Bicol daw ay nilalagyan ng Pandan ang biko.

    So tanong ko po ay:

Saan po ba ilalagay ang pandan leaves:

    a. Sa sinaing na malagkit

    b. sa nilulutong gata na coconut milk-sugar mixture.

    c. o pareho (malagkit na sinaing or nilulutong gata)

Salamat and more power sa Panlasang Pinoy!!!

  • 4 cups of coconut milk is too much for me... i will try to do this again next time with 3 1/2 cups.... and the recipe should specify to use DARK BROWN SUGAR or MUSCOVADO sugar... and 1 2/3 cups of sugar is enough... too sweet for 2cups... but in general, this recipe is very easy.. thanks for this...

  • Plz can u show us how to make UBe cake?

  • translate pleaase?

  • you can buy malagkit rice at wallmart...yong may halong luya tawag nun puto maya, ang biko iba walang luya...thanks sa walang sawang pag up load kababayan.

  • na mis nako ang biko

  • Dapat may luya para mabango!

  • may mas maganda ako way sa gawa ng biko.. indi lata tulad ng gawa nya dito may tubig kc kahit pa pina latik ny a ang gata sa asukal..

  • Kailangan ba may asin? Kasi ang pagka-alam ko walang asin ang Biko na hinahalo.

  • bakit may NaCl???

  • @izanagi21ify salt cos universal taste enhancer... ehrrrmmm, actually its salt and pepper! =)

  • ang galeeeeeeengggggggg

  • AAHHH!! ENGLISHH!!

  • mas masarap biko namin dito..hehe as in pinapa oil talaga namin ang gata tapos lalabas na yung pang toppings..tas kukunin yun i-set aside..then ilagay na ang brown sugar sa oil ng gata..tapos pagsticky na, ilagay na ang malagkit (rice) tapos stir to the max ka..pwee rin nga lagyan ng lemon skin para mabango..ang iba luya pero mas prefer ko yong sa lemon.. yan version namin dito mindanao.. :)

  • Diba usually my topping yan na made sa thick coconut milk???

  • yup its your choice to place some toppings. I intended to present the simple version first then next time gawa naman ng ibang variation with toppings blueroxypinay :)

  • will take note of this inday

  • pwede ba jasmine rice?

  • PLISKEN12, the texture and taste will be different when Jasmine rice is used. Since Jasmine rice is not that sticky compared to the sticky rice, you'll have a more champurado-like texture.

  • @PLISKEN12 malagket nga eh.... sticky rice po...hindi bigas..malagket po..

  • @estuaria02 OO NA NGA!

  • I have looked about ALL of the youtube recipes for this is yours makes more sense!! No one cooks down the coconut milk mixture like you do. They just PLOP it on the rice and stir then eat.
