  • What was the temperature out when you shot this.

  • @quimbyt My notes say that it was cloudy that day, 22 in the morning, 35 for the high. Shot this train about 11am, so it may have been about 28 degrees. Thanks for watching. Jackmp294...

  • "steaming" indeed great catch!

  • You some some of the most unigue and rarest videos I've seen and this is no exception. Excellent video.

  • I watched an unload in progress in Duluth earlier this summer - cool stuff.

  • why was the bell on the 2nd locomotive ringing along with the 1st loco's bell?

  • @joshmeister4449 The way DM&IR has it set up was that when the bell rings, it should ring on all locomotives. If you look at some of my other DM&IR clips at grade crossings, you will hear the bells ringing on the other units. I do not know their reasoning on this. Thanks for watching. Jackmp294...

  • @1jackdk The reasoning behind the bells is that Duluth, MN has an ordinance against blowing the horns, so the Missabe figured the more noise they could make the better with the bells.

  • @criind Thanks! That clears that thought up. Take care...

  • Thanks you, Videos very nice,
