First of all, it would help your point if you spelled McCain correctly. Secondly, I don't think that you fully comprehend the issues. Both candidates use tried and true political 'filler' if you will to direct the tone of their speech. If you filter out all of the filler, you see that both men have good plans for this country. McCain is for progress as well, whereas Obama has been using pretty words to inspire hope. Hope is not a bad thing, if you can back it up. It's just wasted on Obama.

I believe the issue is that the people of Iraq no longer want us in their country. Why should we stay when we are no longer welcomed or needed? If the surge has worked, why shouldn't we leave, and let the Iraqi government run its own country, like it has asked? They want our American troops out as bad as the American people want them out.

Are we trying to create dependency norms with the Iraqi people, like we did with our Native American people and former slaves? We know how that turned out!
