Hey another Horrizon Hobby Spektrum satisfied user! Thats sucks man sorry. I had 4 of those this year when I switched from futaba to spektrum it was the biggest mistake in my 19 years of RC Flying. I studied spread spektrum technology after a couple crashes understanding more than I could forget. Then lost one of my 2 J-10b jets....about $2000. I had my flight cam inside with 1 white LED on rx no volt drop just lost signal with 1 rx and 2 satillites. Back to futaba and havent lost a thing since.
@rcflight13 Actually I can, and I will. I am not going to endanger my expensive, hard to acquire airplane to some cheap-as-fuck chinese junk with no warranty. At least with Futaba, Spektrum, etc etc, there's some customer service and the equipment is held up to a decent reliability standard.
@TestECull Alright, settle down. I can't blame you for trying to avoid Hextronic, I generally do the same, but I've been using a HK-T4A for over a year now and it's never lost signal or glitched out.
@rcflight13 Still, I didn't spend 3/4 of my life getting a hold of an RC airplane just to jeopardize it because of some shoddy radio gear. Yours may work just fine, but that doesn't make me feel any more trusting of the one I'd receive. For all I know you got the one out of ten that works fine and I'd get the lemon that conks out thirty feet off the deck right after takeoff.
you need a good 2.4 tx&rx they are worth the money $150.00 for a dx6i spektrum tx and 80 buck's for rx.. sorry about your plane that has been my luck with 27 & 72mh.
And he flys it hard to the ground man i love selling planes to guys like you lol

Brings meaning to the term "2.4ghz or bust". The T4A from Hobby King works great and at only $20 you can't really fault it.
