  • O shit no no no no this scene scared me when I saw it a good 8 years ago as a kid and it still fucks me up....and that scream.....oh god why

  • @crackface5 ok, this is what you need to do: Buy/Rent Day Of The Dead, go to Special Features, go to Behind the sceens, fast foward to about the 14:40 mark and watch. they show how this sceen was made, and they use (dun dun DUN) A PUPPET HEAD. hence, not real. But hey, if you dont wanna accept the facts and wanna be a bed wetting little pussy and have alot of people make shit about how dumb you are, then be my guest

  • The zombies are so strong to rip a head.

  • Hey, guess what?

    What?

    Eye gouge!

    AAAH!

    Head Rip!

    AAAH!

    Bieberfication!

    EEEEEEEEEK!

  • nomies :3

  • wtf is with the music lol

  • 0_o..... that was the most gangster shit I've ever seen.

  • There we go, I've been telling people on their top ten list of deaths on film that this should of been included

  • Is a symptom of the zombie virus regular trips to the gym? Because you've got to be ripped as fuck to be able to seperate a man's head from his body...

  • @ThatMazenierKid He just gouged his eyeballs out and used the empty sockets to pull.

  • @ThatMazenierKid romero zombies dont have feelings of pain or anything, so i wouldnt doubt their ability to rip shit up

  • THAT'S how you do it

  • I just realized how much Patrick's death in Dead Set looks like this... except there was more spine.

  • @qweeqweeq yeh, I remember dead set....it was okay, but the walking dead is better....

  • @zzdre I agree, even if Dead Set was a full tv series The Walking Dead would still be better.

  • @qweeqweeq But I have to admit dead set was scary, mainly because they were fast.....

  • Why can't all modern zombiemovies be like Romero's originals?

  • his head wasnt screwed on right

  • Best part is the pitch of his vocal cords changing as they're stretched while the head is torn away from the body!

  • @zzzombie888 True. Amazing attention to detail ! Albeit in a slightly disturbing way

  • @crackface go cry somewhere else, dumbass...if your pussy little mind can't handle great spfx, don't watch...better have momma wipe those tears for ya

  • the cheesy 80s music and the high pitched scream fucked me when i was 5

  • HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

  • A practical scene like this scared 10 times more than any CG special effect crap, doesnt matter how gory it is.

  • ok uhm

    that would hurt a little

  • Is he dead?

  • @dtyiscool Nah, A few bandages and he should be just fine. ;)

  • Is it just me or does that guy looks a little bit like Point Man from F.E.A.R. 3?

  • Just....god damn! that shit is intense

  • FATALITY!

  • zombies: hey lets just touch him and pull at him with our dead muscles! *moments later* we got his hear off somehow...

  • WTF the head still moving his mouth

  • @TheWackyman11 Your head stills lives for a small period of time when decapitated.

  • Well, I guess he wasn`t very....headstrong, but seriously now he will never get a...head in life now :P

  • @IronTittyAustin: "I guess he'll never be the head of a major corportation!"

    Vanessa: "Okay, that's enough, Austin."

    LOL

  • turbo zombie film

  • Jesus christ, this is why old films are the best.

  • Not a good time to lose one's head :p

  • i've seen actual beheading videos and that's what happens to your voice when you are decapitated

  • music reminds me of riding a fucking pirate ship, not being eaten by damn zombies

  • Now this is a real zombie film. No running zombies and characters actually being eaten. Wish they still made them like this.

  • @pandaphil

What do you think of sparkling vampires?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Sparkling vampires are the work of the devil!

  • @pandaphil

Have you seen Return of the Living Dead, Lifeforce, Nightmare City and The Stuff? all had fast moving zombies even in 1985

  • @Johnlindsey289 Out of your list I've only seen 'Return'. I don't mind the occasional 'fast' zombie. I figure someone who's just turned could still move quickly, but with time, the dead body would start to break down. Or, if they're Rage virus victims rather than reanimated corpses, thats fine too. I admit I liked the Dawn of the Dead remake, but in general I just find hordes of slow zombies scarier. If you guys prefer them fast, no prob. Different strokes.

  • @pandaphil

Well in Return, the zombies not only ran but they can talk and can't be killed but the only way is to destroy everything in a fire by cremating them.

  • This movie never gets enough credit for its death scenes.

  • @malathis0 true...the movie itself sucks, but the film's death scenes are commendable for how fucked up they are.

  • lol! how did Torres NOT SEE all those zombies right in front of him THEN he turned around to see if he was being followed?! lol! what a death!

  • George A. Ramero is messed up

  • damn it

  • Friggin' grisly. Should have won some kind of award

  • i...will never watch this again...ever

  • haha all of us have a primordial chimp scream in us

  • in this movie the zombies are much stronger

  • night dawn and day of the dead all are connected

  • @TheSuperluigishow i dont understand none of them say what happened to the revious survivorl like no one knows what happened to peter and the other girl did they surviuve if they did whered they go

  • ...owch...

  • rule #784. when your head has been gripped by zombies DO NOT FUCKING LIFT YOUR ARMS UP HELPLESSLY LIKE A FUCKING RETARD, SERIOUSLY at least do an EFFORT to struggle xD

  • listen to them vocal cordes being streched mint

  • I remember rewinding this part over and over to try and process the brutality of this scene, wondering what sick mind came up with the idea of having the voice distort as the head gets ripped off, and wondering how sick I must have been to want to see it over and over.

  • @sparkles13 that's actually what happens to your voice when you are decapitated. look at any of the beheading videos and you will hear the voice getting higher.

  • I love that while some of the zombies are ripping the poor man's head off, the rest are just giving him a tummy-rub.

  • @Previati His stomach wasn't feeling good, they needed to rub his tummy.

  • One of the best for a 1985 movie. Especially when the voice changes due to the streching of the vocal cords.

  • @818mrAlkash

Agreed. They Must've done some sort of research to make sure they got it right.

  • wtf at doomguy5000

  • this is disturbing

  • ouch...

  • vocal chords brutal

  • Im sorry but every person that thinks this is real is just plain retarded.

  • The best bit is how someone was clever enough to know the vocal chords pitch would change as they are stretched.

  • Now I'm warped for life lol

  • @crackface5 Ugh no there is such a thing as animatronics A.K.A. movie magic.

  • @TheRealBossman12 Horror effects are only done with cgi. Omg i cant believe i just saw someone really die in real life. Why is this material online. Im crying now.

  • @crackface5 This was back when CGI wasn't gay and killed all the fun of the 80's If they ever remade little shop of horrors they wouldn't use a Giant puppet they would use the crappy 3D of something thats not really there that is CGI this was not a real death This was a fake animatronic Dummy being slaughtered you need to get that Movies today will always suck except for george romereo's films He treats horror and movies with respect And I would hate to see him use CGI.

  • @crackface5 For crying out loud, this isn't real! It is an animatronic puppet! A PUPPET!

  • @Einsteinium1000 OMG no sir no sir. I showed my mother and she asked me to never watch this disturbing trash ever again. I cant believe you people have showed me this horrific material. Im scarred for life. Many of you think this is amusing but i do not. Omg help me rhonda help help me rhonda. I think i just shattered my psyche seeing a man get his head ripped off in real life. Dear lord our father who art in heaven who creates this sort of trash with a smile on their face. Im crying.

  • @crackface5 Tom Savini would have some choice words about your comment regarding CGI...

  • @crackface5 you are a moron!!!

  • @crackface5 That's not real calm down....

  • @zzdre Are you sure, are you sure. OMG Im still sitting in my 4 cornered room rocking back and foth clutching my knees at the thought that i saw a real human being get their head ripped off. O my freaking gosh man. This is so painful. How could they do this to a person.

  • @crackface5 Are you honestly being sarcastic? lol, I have actually seen a beheading video that was real, and now that you mention it it does look alot like this, but no this is fake haha

  • was his head stil screaming!!!!?

  • @DrVinny654

This was a very well-staged scene in the movie. The eyes were being gouged out while the head was being removed; the zombies were holding the head like it was a bowling ball, and the brain was still intact, so he still tried to scream. But since the lungs and vocal cords were in the body and not the head, once the vocal cords snapped (hence the high-pitched screaming), the head was silently screaming, and would have continued until it bled out and died. So gruesome, but well done.

  • @DrVinny654 yes but in silence.....D:

  • Now is this the same outbreak from the first movie or is it a new one? If it's a new one then these guys are stupid for not preparing.

  • thats what i call reaping and tearing

  • sooo classic

  • This music doesn't fit well...

  • @Taffyfolkartist Would the weird high-pitched chipmunk yell happen too?

  • @NiggaPlease2311 i would imagine so as his vocal cords and such are stretched. In one of the beheading vids by Islamic extremists yu can here a similar sound when they start to reach that area while the hostage is screaming. Quite horrific

  • Yummy

  • That part scared me when I was a kid, curse you mom and dad for letting me watch this!!!

  • @Kewln00b seriously? how little were you? holy fucking shit, i would never let my kid watch that.

  • @KIDxMIZER

Really? I'd rather have my kid watching a classic zombie flick then the shit out today. Every child sees a horror movie that terrifies them at some point, for me it was Candyman and IT.

  • @Despondency420 oh yeah, but I'd rather have my kids watching a classic zombie flick when they're old enough to appreciate it.

  • @KIDxMIZER 10

  • @Kewln00b wow, dude, that's terrible, lol. i was watching star wars and home alone 3 when i was 10.

  • hes still moving his mouth when his head is ripped off!

  • lol he looks like he still screaming even when he got decapitated.

  • That scene is so fucking metal

  • One of the best Of the Dead romero movies Ever.

  • What i always say.....When you're surrounded by troubles; don't loose your head!!!

  • holy fuck so goddamn brutal i love it thats the most hardcore shit i seen today

  • effective

  • best part in any movie ever i love it, thank you for uploading !!!

  • Looks like he'll be able to sing soprano now...

  • well i guess thats the sound you make when ur voice box is being torn up

  • tf does your voice really get high ptiched when your head gets ripped out lol it sounds funny

  • I LOVE this death old movies rock! CGI looks so fake to me maybe it's cause they put effort in back then

  • This is definitely the most graphic, gory zombie movie I've ever seen.
