  • so i have been following you for two weeks now and i have went over and over your videos and my hair is not coming out the same. i noticed this time around watching that you roll your hair outward instead of under does that make a difference in the roots? and also my hair is really dry after everything

  • hmm did you deep condition and use a leave-in conditioner ? If so you just need alittle moisturizer on your hair after it's dry, I usually had the same problem. You don't have to use high heat under the dryer either, just warm and that helps too. The way you saw me roll is the best way IMO bc it gets closer to my roots and it doesn't pull them too hard. My roots lay smoothly and my ends are fuller, the illusion I wanted =)

  • You're extremely dedicated.....and trust, we do appreciate it.

Thank you for making the tutorial!

  • Thank you again Cess !!! Girl I really appreciate that comment, they keep me going..

  • hey shelly i'm drying my hair rite now lol. i just finish setting my hair its not has neat as your but i tried quick ? is it true if i roller set my hair and its not neat will it break.

until i get good @ it. this lady said but how it makes no sense to me?

  • I honestly am not sure, but I don't think neatness has anything to do with it as long as you aren't tangling your hair, or pulling on it too hard while its wet bc you can get breakage more easily when its wet. My first rollersets were not neat at all ! I didn't get any breakage though bc I went very very slowly and gently. ...I would try the ponytail method if you're worried about neatness. have you ever watched "Caisha" on here? She has the best video I've seen so far on a cheat rollerset =)

  • OH and what kind of dryer do you use?

Hooded that sits on a table or a soft bonnet dryer?

    what brand?

How long do you sit under it?

  • I use a hooded table dryer ! Gold N Hot, and depending on how wet my hair is it takes anywhere from an hour and a half to almost 2 hrs..Its' ridiculous but it's also worth it lol =)

  • nice! Thanks for the full description! I was just about to ask what you used.

  • I'm glad I could help !! no problem, thanks for watching !

  • Do you have a video showing the finished result?

  • yes I do !! The saran wrap/protein treatment video is the one you're looking for =)

  • what kind of rollers are those? Thanks I'm loving it

  • Thank you ! They are 2" inch magnetic rollers, I like gray bc they dry the fastest for me =)... and the brightly colored ones I put in were apart of 54 piece of conair magnetic rollers ithat range from 2" to 1/2 inch rollers. I found that in walmart for around $10 =)

  • I love the look!!! Your results awesome & the roots are so straight! I plan to do when I get my stand up dryer (I'm saving on). Thank you & sorry for keepin' you up so late!

  • Thank you ! My roots are always crinkled and wavy when I roll, ALWAYS ! lol. You just can't see it on camera lol. ... but wrapping my hair always smoothes them down somehow. You know I'm terrified of even picking up any kind of electric/heat appliance lol.... so wrapping is my life ! Oh and I'm hoping to get my standing dryer sometime this month for my birthday! I'm hoping my dad will get it as my present =) lol

and no troubles !! I HAD to do something with my head lol
