  • TOYOTA E TOYOTA E NAO HA DUVIDAS.. I LOVE TOYOTA..

  • 0-100kmh 7.2 seconds by my count.

  • Great :-) ive owned loads of honda vti type rs subarus etc .. In my time and tbh the toyota corolla ts is a great car to own use daily and fairly fast. in society today with petrol prices sky high, insurance premiums through the roof, pigs on every street corner and british roads more like off road dirt tracks the toyota corolla is great!!

  • I just have one or two things to say...

German cars are good but... Japanese cars are just perfect...

    Toyota power for ever

I have a rolla too and u have one of the best's machine's ever made, Gratz for the Evil CTS

  • pretty cool engine

the fun is that my Fiat Coupe goes to 6500rpm and thats where your VTEC stuff kicks in hehehe all the way to 8200 amazing

  • I would like to have it. have got the 1.6l version and many drivers here in germany don't expect how qiuck it goes. Germans are so proud of their car history, that they think all other cars are slow crap. The nice thing about the Corolla TS is, that it looks like nothing special. Only the ones who know what the red coloured Toyota badge on the back, and the tiny TS in the grill means, know what's inside. And in Germany that'll be about 0,01% of the people.

  • @7Nub2Nub83 f**k u bro, maybe we all in germany drive Mercedes, Bmw, Audi and dont like jap-cars. But the real drivers know that the corolla ts is f**king fast in stock. the reason why nobody drives them is, that Mercedes and BMW are more comfortable. so why we should drive such a tinny, uncomfortable car?

  • @ostblock180

just because of what I said. It is not more uncomfortable than a Golf GTI or something compareable. Of course, if you pay twice the money, you get more car. That's no magic. If you can afford a higher class, of course you can buy a Mercedes etc. Don't forget that we're talking about the so called Golf-class. More comfortable is a lexus, too. But it's more expensive. And the funy thing about a hot hatchback is, the understatement. If there's GTI on the back, everyone knows ...

  • @ostblock180

and "TS" means "Toyota Sport" ... else it would be "TCwbe" for "Toyota Comfort with big engine"

If you wan to compare Luxury ans Sport, you'd have to pay a lot more money. I don't want to say that german cars are no good at all, of course the are. But, Japanese technology is far underratet in Germany. That's what makes it funny to drive one.

  • @7Nub2Nub83 yea but the actually Golf 6 R is faster then the corolla TS i think. The good things at the corolla ts are his expensive price, his fu*king fast stock, sound(if u have sport air intake) and he looks so undangerous.

One question: it is a 1.8 L engine right? what is his petrol consumption???

  • nois porta corolla ae winicius, paulo gay.

  • @hgortermarof

well, I made some experiences with fiat and ... despite the enginesound and the performance, which is really good I'm really not impressed by "Fiat-reliabillity". 5 years of driving and I spent nearly the same amount of money into repairs as I spent on the car itself. Friends told me the same about their Fiats.

Corolla (the 2nd one): no repairs nessessary at all. It just works and works and works.

  • a lil rev on 2nd to 3rd gear =D

    but amazing performance

    1.8 16v dual vvt-i stock?

  • devil car. awesome acceleration

  • nice

  • beautiful

  • is this a car I should buy if i want to change from a 08 yaris? im talking about used ones.

  • nice had a e11 with 110 hp now i have an e15 with 177hp but this is great!

  • Lift engagement is RPM specific. For the Corolla XRS in Canada/USA, lift engagement does not occur until ~6700RPM. I believe the T sport has a much better ECU that engages lift around 6000 or so which is much better in terms of power band!

  • @ryant888 Yea, lift comes in @6200 on a TS. Still have to powershift to stay in lift 1st -> 2nd though :(

  • dude,, i have 4 age ST so i dont have any idea about vvtL-i, my question is if u try to power shift will the lift kick in right away? because i heard that lift does not kick after you shift

  • @SoL21jeanne lift is contantly variable after it kicks in, the camshaft profile changes after 6k and wont change to the lower one unless you let the revs drop...you can keep it in lift after changing but u have to shift more aggresively and right at redline, the models with lift at 6700/6800rpm you can keep in lift after changing.

  • @trendkill777 I love it how my ss is always in burnout mode

  • check my vids too dude...

  • I believe mine is faster...ohh no wait, i know it is

  • i own a t-sport

its a pleasure to drive and rev :)

  • i like corolla but when he come out he has one problem.....civic type r

  • @Kabamaru86

    LOL

  • sounds like indestructible 4A Series cheers!

  • 192hp? lol so fast, great car. Made in Japan

  • chevgav1, yes it is very difficult, you really have shift fast, but with a little training it would work, be careful you don't burn the clutch. I wrote I had 19 k km, well I passed the 30 k now. Still, where ever you look, no one has beaten filming this driving like displayed in this vid, here. I have done it, haven't filmed it, but I am a little to old for that, I guess.

  • Good shifting, you nearly land in lift from 1st to 2nd shift, looked like 5900 change.i cant do better than 5600.

  • Japan Cars PRO !!!!!

  • I have a Yaris TS, it's a good little car, and I have already test a Corolla TS, my god it's not the same category. The lift at 6200rpm is fantastic, but no torque before 5000rpm... The engine is like

    "Off -> 6200rpm -> On".

    Really great car ;)

  • I reviewed this, and actually, this is very good driving (except in fifth, at the end, you could go on a little). That proves that without all this wheel spin, it is perfectly possible to shift properly and have a smooth acceleration with our TS's within a nicely tight time frame. Good work.

  • life starts from 6krpm ;]

  • I have got exactly the same, no mods, no compressor, this is stock. Oh, and I must have right over 19 k km, now.

  • perfect shifts man

  • Why say anything else? Toyota Rulezzzz so much. I wich I could afford a TSport, but I only have my 2.0D-4D... but it's very goo also ;)

  • W00t nice :D

  • Japan Car;D

  • too bad the lift is not loud :)

  • solid acceleration

  • JAPAN RULES POWER OF DREAMS..

  • @Vroumvroumhehe that's about honda

  • @Vroumvroumhehe thats honda idiot

  • It took the corolla 27 s to reach 200 kmh

civic type r takes only 19s (2001 to 2007 Model)

The new civic type r 2008 model Hachback takes 25.4

  • i m a mehanic at toyota, if you wanna real power so buy a MK4 SUPRA you fuck everything on the street i know what i m talking about, but please guys does me a favour and dont buy a FUCKING GERMAN CAR O_o,

    GERMAN CARS==LIKE SHIT

    JAPAN & AMY CARS==LONGLIVE POWER

    peace

  • i think the best from germany will fuck up anything from america

  • if it werent for germany and german cars, cars today would not be the same. i give you a few examples diesel engine by a german guy, powersteering german guy, engine lead mr fukin bosch himself from germany.

  • (atlantic2000)what planet are you from?

  • this is toyota vvt-i engine.. thumb for toyota..

  • VVTL-i, i.e., with lift. VVT-i is without lift.

  • is it the 192 hp?

  • o corrola tsport deve dar mais de 240 km/h, o contador é limitado, vê-se que chega lá bem, acho q deve dar bem embalado perto de 250 km/h

  • nagyon komoly ez a gép!

  • i counted about 7 secs to 60? bout right?

  • Yea normaly between 6.5-7sec! ;)

  • nice car, good sound, shifted well! *thumbs up*

you need the upgrade to 272Hp with a supercharger ;)

  • 80 hp gain ?

    That much ?

  • 1.8VVTI 140kw

  • Great Shifting ! Right @ 8200 rpm !

  • @TAYLZ1 actually the second gear change was a little late. Pretty good nevertheless

  • awesume car. around 200 HP right?

  • 192 hp !

  • nice car. love the lift system.

and vw is shit. my mom has a passat. nothing but electrical problems.

  • 6200 valve lift

  • good bye fuckin vw golf fuuuu shit car

  • its called corolla power baby!!! VVTL-I forever! i got a sportivo which is the same thing ive driven from brisbane to newcastle on one tank of fuel (57 litres)(770km) with 3 people in the car! and i dont need to tell you how quick it is you can see it in this vid

  • Interesting about the Sportivo being like the Corolla in the video despite the fact the t-sport has apparently a supercharger. Would be nice to see a modified Australian Sportivo with a supercharger.

  • Hello:)..I have buy corrola Tsport. Please teel me how many gasoline this car burn??

  • Hello everybody. I just want to do a small statement and finish up with that after 5 successfull years with a toyota corolla TS. This car is really fantastic regarding its sound, max speed(up to 235kmh),and its acceleration while rolling. It seems to lack to accelerate from 0-100. Notwithsatnding, it really has bad springs therefore bad handling in the curves as a result. If you ever buy it do it but consider the things I told you. On the whole I adore my corolla despite its disadvantages.

  • Does anybody know the octane of the petrol this thing is running on?? We have these corolla's in South Africa but they struggle to beat 1.6 vtecs and even Silvertop 20v's but I have to add that are fuel is up to shit and on a high compression motor like this it will cost you some power...

  • I think it's 98 Octane (SuperPlus in GER)

  • If you hear this sound.. please step away!

    Toyota is the best :D

  • and you asked if this is standard/dandycaptain) and yes it is... because if i put the pedal in the metal i go up to 60 km/h in 1 sec... and after a while 80- 100 - 120 ...FASTER THAN HIS

  • the thing is that i own a corolla ts and i raced against a type r and i won, it was a pretty good honda but corolla is better so i dont belive you...hondalover...//corolla fan

  • lol I own a Toyota TS 02... against honda type r 07 toyota looses just after a while on 1/4 mile stock toyota would beat stock type r

  • my 98 civic Type Rdoes 0-160 in under 16s This takes 17s so a 1600 v-tech is faster...

  • Is this standard?

  • Compare 1600 vtec with 1600 vvt 20v blacktop ! Nothing like toyota ! Toyota is the best

  • excuse me ,i'm not a honda or toyota fan ,but 1997-2007 vtec civic can't beat that thing !!!

  • That's what my friend said before (a) I whupped his modded 1.5 vtec with a stock 1.0L yaris (Fair enough his clutch was a bit fucked but a 1.0L?!) (b) I whupped his modded 1.5lsi with my stock 1.4 corolla. He went and bought a 300zx he was so ashamed. vvt-i is the shit. I beat boy racers with a car I bought for economy.

  • a 1.6 vtec...b16a..nt gna happen those ppl maybe cudnt drive

  • Pretty good sound, would kick a new toyota corolla in the guts.

  • c'mon guys! It has the super VVTL-I system up! It produces 192 powerful HP from a 1.8lt engine! Great sound-great power! IT IS THE TOYOTA COROLLA TS!

  • fake

  • hondas are fucking shit

    nice toyota

  • güzel dimi:D

  • weak!! honda civic vtec coupe 97 will eat that thing, shame on the toyota

  • ya, haha, very funny, i never knew a 97 civic could go more than 200km without falling apart or losing control.

  • looks about right to me

  • this thing probably has 15 turbos lol

  • Looks like your on a dyno...

  • No, cos it would accelerate faster

  • Well the camera seems to be moving left and right, ie. the driver is steering... which wouldn't be a great thing to do on a dyno
