It's a good vid to get new/interested people into the WH40K universe, really well done and good jorb acquiring some of those hard to find in game cut-seens. The only real problem I have is that Starcraft 2 movie, but not due to it being Starcraft. In the lore a space marine getting his armor is the last of the religious ceremonies for any initiate. A slap-bam-cookie cutter armor placing is akin to that of a Catholic Priesthood is obtained by purchasing a $10 paper online. Just sayan.

The genestealers and space hulk came out in 1989. Starcraft is pretty well influenced by GW's work, they never tried to hide it.

Then again, GW is hardly original, it has surely taken things from other IP's, a few people have even called 40k , "tokien in space"

if there ever was a fight between a spartan (halo) and space marine the space marne would own the spartan. Space marine a 8 foot tall, carry guns which fire explosive rounds the sie of red bull cans and have lads of sergical implants that make them incredible. Read the space marine codex before compareing ANYTHING to them.

@predatormax16 Spartan IIs are trained form the age of six in all forms of combat. They're trained to use any weapon they encounter, and are highly intelligent so they can even use unfamiliar weaponry and quickly figure out their enemy's weaknesses.

Spartan Mjolnir Mark 5+ armour comes with shielding, or other enhancements, such as camouflage. Not only this but after they complete their training each is augmented with reinforced bones and such, so really a Spartan II would beat a Space Marine

@Arkantos117 Space Marines are usually recruited from Death Worlds, ie planets where everything is literally trying to kill you, and you aren't likely to live past 10. A marine can spit acid, survive in a total vacuum without protection, use .75 calibre rocket propelled explosive rounds and wear armour that can take multiple hits from anti-tank weapons. Not to mention that their technology is 40000 years ahead of the UNSC.

@andymac4883 Spartans are put through life theatening training from the age of six. Plus humans can't spit acid or survive in a vacuum without protection, don't know where you got that shit from. Mjolnir Mark 6 can take rockets head on. UNSC Mjolnir tech is a mixture of Forerunner, Covenant and Human, so really it's more advanced than what Space Marines have, as Forerunners are probably more advanced than the Eldar, which are the most advanced race in Warhammer 40k.

@Arkantos117 Space Marines aren't technically human after their augmentation; the process gives them an extra heart and lung, turns their ribcage into a solid shell of solid, ceramite-reinforced bone, removes the need to sleep and gives them many more abilities. Spartans are also a lot more agile and are trained so that they can adapt to any and all situations. Spartans have equal genetic enhancements.
