  • I'm pretty sure a standard CAI won't invalidate your warranty considering a few different companies make the part specifically door the Fusion. I think it's worth the money for sure. As for sounding the same on a 2010 model, I would think so since the motors are the same, but keep in mind the updated design may or may not have additional sound proofing.

  • Do you think this would sound that good on my 2010 3.0 fusion?

  • @highlanderhybrid would sound great considering Ford opend some things up to raise the hp from 221 to 240 in 2010

  • i want an intake for my fusion soo bad. Problem is it'll validate my warranty. I guess I can do bolt ons and stuff. Is it worth the $?

  • What kind of emission laws would prevent someone from installing a CAI and benefiting from increased power and fuel economy? That sucks man! It is a 3.0L V6. The exhaust system was tricky since it's AWD. I actually had to have Meineke install it since it required some custom work due to the AWD system. All together about $1000 bucks

  • @gmaa90

CAI won't affect emissions or fuel economy. Only a clogged air filter on an old carbeurated engine will decrease mpg. The power increase from a CAI will be marginal.

  • I love this car, own it myself all my friends want it. but sucks that i cant have a cold air intake in it do to the emission laws in Washington. Gay... but yea. btw what liter is your engine? and how much did that exhaust cost?
