AS A EX SCOTS GUARDS MAN I SPENT MOST OF my time in northern Ireland and only trooped the colour once .hard core infantry was what we done .done guard duties but it was rotated round who ever was in the country at the time, but it was a scots guard general who formed the sas and most of the selection comes from the guards regiments great video was that victoria barracks ?

Gaurdsmen whereas Gaurdsmen an Infantryman is a Rifleman. It says so when you address them by rank.

A Gaurd regiment is primarly a ceremonial regiment, but will fight aswell. An Infantry regiment will purely be a fighting regiment. Hence, there is difference between a Gaurdsmen and an Infantrman.

When you know about Regimental insignia, then come an argue with me.
