I personally love this preformance by Kris Allen and keith Urban. I will tell you though although the result showed otherwise Adam Lambert deserved to be the winner this year. I personally love Adam but cheered for my man Danny Gokey. The only two people on this show to ever really deserve to win was Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert. Adam was consistent from day one and sang his heart out every preformance. Kris Allen was never consistent, he had some good preformances, didnt deserve it though.

I recall that I'd expected Adam to win and was just waiting for the entire finale to end so that they'd announce Adam as the winner. Kris was a good singer but a tad blah to me back then.

Then Kris came along with this wonderful final performance and instantly, I knew that nothing mattered. This performance sealed it. I was won over immediately. All it took was one song. This song.

This was probably the only time that American Idol deserved 2 winners - Adam and Kris. Best finale showdown.

This was amazing......while it seems really wrong that they gave Adam someone as iconic as KISS to duet with, and they gave Kris Keith Urban, who is a valid force in the country market but no where else, I still loved it. It wasn't showy, like Adam's. It was about 2 guys (both REALLY hot, btw) having fun singing a fun song. I love how Keith actually shared the song. So many duets just end up with the artist singing it and the other person just standing there smiling and doing back up vocals.

now i like Kris, but personally i feel like they screwed Kris over with the choice of performer. Country music is not what Kris wants to do and its not even his favorite type of music and they put him with a country singer.
