sounds like rocco prestia's bass..its not the video or audio quality..thats really the sound of his bass..ive heard it from rocco..

listen to the distortion and 'grainy' quality to his voice. Do you think he really sounds like that? It's obvious that the bass sound is affected by the poor audio/ recording/ digital conversion quality in the same way.

almost.prestia has a more muffled boomy tone.he gets rid of all his mids and just keeps it low bass.

I'm a big fan of motown. but when he starts slapping his tone is "HORRIBLE". Finger style doesn't sound bad.

I do like the jazz tone. For me it has a better all around tone. I do like the precision tone when playing finger style. Either way you can't go wrong.

So you are telling me that, a professional musician recorded something of himself & he used low quality video recording. I very seriously doubt that. Now if someone else is recording him without his knowledge, thats different. But even if he did, I have been playing bass long enough to filter through bad recordings.
