Because people bought the game for their consoles. The 360 pirates got banned this week, and there are no PS3 mods in existence.

Also Steam did a pretty good job warding off the pirates, since many important features (party invites, friend requests, private matches) only work if Steam has authed it. As such, MW2 sold far better than MW1 on PC.

steam does a great job warding off multiplayer pirates. I have had a steam account since beta :D

but it doesnt stop people getting their hands on single player. which was enough for me to know, this game is not worth the money. black friday 25$ ill take it though
