Guahu si Davina Mantanona Babauta, ya sumasaga gi iya Virginia, si Nana-'hu si Bernadette Benavente, gi iya Dededo, si Tata-hu' si John T. Mantanona, giya Inalahan. Have you moved your lessons elsewhere? This is a good way for a lot of us to learn our language. Thanks so much.
Thank you very much I am trying to learn as well. My Mom is from Dededo. Her name is Cecilia Taijeron Fernandez and she married my Dad and we moved to Illinois. My name is Maria Sileven. Iam named for my maternal grandmother Maria Taijeron Fernandez.
some constructive criticism: you're saying hu' instead of yu' at the end of sentences. Saying hu' after words makes it possessive. For example. I na'an hu (hu making it possessive) si Juan. Si Juan yu' (Which means I am Juan). It should also be "Guahu, sumasaga yu' (instead of hu') gi iya _____" good job though =). Not a lot of people are doing this and the newer generations are losing the language.
my uncle is the late Frank Salas of Agat.....I used to stay with him(and other family). Right down the street from the beach...miss Guam so much. My family from Santa Rita mostly...
Hafa, i'm from Agat too... lived rite down the street from ur family in agat. my grandmother was Anan Butch, Duenes, Jesus. my auntie is Gus & Doll who owned Sablan store.. man i miss it so much!!!!!!!!! last time was 95.
The only part I understood was the age of your children, as they pronounced as in spanish, just that you don't use the ñ letter, which equals to gn in french and italian, and the nh in portuguese. Very interesting Chamorro language!
Chamorros and Refaluwasch, CNMI or Guahan...This is urgent! You need to watch "CNMI Descent for Self-Government & Indigenous Rights". I uploaded the videos. Spread to friends and families!
Hey, im part of that website, but I didnt know there was a language group... How can I get to the page or where do you guys study??? How do you study???
My generation should really learn the language. I'm trying my hardest to learn from my grandmother (Fejerang) and grandfather (Salas). My family is from Mangilao. :)

I can tell you grew up with English. Those who speak Chamorro with an English tongue don't have a strong accent like a Saipanese or Lutanguese.
