  • why don't you guys just leave poor nature alone and let her do whatever she wants. People, it's just a freaking prediction, relax! I don't need to rely on no forecasts. You just need to know 7-day forecasts to survive

  • it seems like washington state should have quite a bit more! ---its already freezing up here, and we've had a huge (cold) rain storm last week (is that a sign for what we might expect coming this winter??)

what do u think more specifically about Washington state?

    -thanks

  • what do you think about PITSBURGH, PA?

  • thank god I live in the appy mountains in tennessee. I love winter much more than summer, only if it snows though.

  • keep up the good work. appreciate your hard work. ignore the haters - their energy is wasted; do not waste yours.

  • Also anyone that wants to try to make me sound stupid... Here is a FAQ: I never said that the national forecast's were wrong. Some may contrast with my forecast but I never said that he isnt right.

What I said is that its awful to forecast the minimum amount of snow and should just wait to add that later.

Thanks and Sorry for turning this comment section into a Battle Zone Dante.

  • La Nina's rarely produce below average winter temps in the southeast, which winter are you comparing this upcoming one to, in your opinion?

  • Last winter was very similiar to the 1978 winter, and this summer is very similiar to the summer of 1999, I HATE La Nina's here because we get into extreme drought and extreme heat during the summer, and warm dry winters --- 2009 was the worst drought since 1917 here in So Tx, while the rest of the country was having a "cool" summer.

  • First of all if theweatheralert or weater600 knew anything about weather they would know two things, first prediction are only accurate 3 days out...hence the word prediction. Secondly, what the man is saying is right. Now the numbers as to inches of snow fall may not be head on but according to the weather patterns as of right NOW we are setting up to see more of a La Nina year. Perhaps to go to school for WEATHER before you can start throwing out your "expertise" or lack there of!!!!

  • @bsillie You think I dont know its going to be a La Nina? It wouldnt even take a good weather man to tell you that. Second if I was sooo stupid as you make me sound- check out my forecast based on the moderate La Nina this winter .Bsillie If you knew anything about weather you would also know there isnt a date for an accurate forecast. Maybe more like a 3 hour forecast is accurate, most of the time.

  • Gosh that was awful. Saying that Northeast Ohio wont hit 28+ inches?? Not like we average in the 50-60's. If your going to post a forecast like this just wait until you really are serious.

  • @theweatheralert with all due respect to you, why so harsh? If you do not agree with the forecast look around for another one. You do not have to agree with the forecast. We predicted 51" for Washington D.C last year in October and then ended up with 55". We pretty much know what we are talking about, but either way this forecast is only for Minimums the updated one will be soon, so please just be cool. Thank You- Weather Advance Management

  • @dante61092 Why send this message now, when one week ago I said in a email to you saying how we should be better friends-pretty much a sorry. I have sent about 3 of those total. In my area 60-100 inches of snow last year wasnt specific enough to be called a good forecast. You pretty much know what you are talking about for the Mid-Atlantic not Great Lakes.

  • @dante61092

I don't understand one bit how you could not put the lake effect areas of Ohio and Indiana into the 28+ range? Those areas get that much snow in one month?

Conisder this: Akron, Ohio got over 30 inches in the month of February alone.

You need to do some thinking on this one!

  • with all due respect, this is the Weather Advance Winter Forecast, our forecasts are NOT based off of the National Weather Service. We were the only ones at weather advance to most accurately predict the winter of 2009-2010 with snow prediction amounts and the storm tracks as well. We have been considered by several visitors much better, than other local or national sites such as accuweather a weather.com. I respect your opinion but I just want you to understand where we are coming from.

  • The kid needs to practice plus if he know better he would know the Winter 2010-2011 Outlook does not get released until oct.
