  • i know the 2click orbit, 1click flare and alll the basic transform scratches But this scratch is by far one of the most challenging scratches to accomplish! im trying to learn both styles but mainly trying to learn the famous rafik style..ive been practicing it for more than 2months and still can't get it up to rafik's speed. Daammmitt!!

  • @cjayone2 haha, keep practicing man!

u know what they say, practice makes perfect ;)

  • @cjayone2 You should try to learn about double-timing twiddles

  • Thanks for the vid, watched it many times. Very clear, but I'm still not getting it....more practice + practice needed! Keep em coming.

  • @mrflip1000 thanks! dont worry, you'll get em very soon

  • never say never!

  • @miamiwax - fkin A bro, this is tech... I'll have to practise for 100 years hahaha

  • nice tutorial man. in fact its the first one ive seen that i can actually understand the theory of the autobahn now.. cheers.

ima practice this and post when i think i got it!

  • no prob man! glad it helped u.

be sure to post it as a video response to this one!

  • I can do all sorts of scratches when im just messing on a freestyle, and probably popped this out a few times by accident, but how do you go about putting DJ scratch combos into a mini-routine?

Need help just putting together a 7-8 minute scratch video.

On another note, that was SLICK bro.

Big help! *rewind, play, rewind, play*

  • i would suggest learning harder scratches (like this one) because most of the harder scratches are combos of the basic scratches so once you can do the harder ones, it is much easier to do other combos

  • True say man, i just end up going random for an hour or two.

How long did it take for you to get good?

Ive been on CDX's for about a year...

Anyway, thank you very much for the help!

Theres far to many dickheads on youtube man, you've got my respect bigtime.

  • depends how u much u practice. it only took me a few months.

    thanks man, appreciate it

  • very very good !

  • Thank you! x)

  • thanks helps a lot ...confuses me seein it mirrored

  • very nice tutorial it helped specially the no mixer part... whats the beat? plz :)

  • i think that is the first break from the 'Battle Breaks' record from qbert

  • The jazzy beat at the end? U'r sure? I'm searching for it, and i don't find it on battle breaks

  • The jazzy beat at the end is on Dirtstyle Record's "Battle Breaks"... the original song is called "Just a friendly game of baseball" by Main Source (Wild Pitch Records 1993)

  • cool,,, that actually helped a lot, just got to get into practice and i should be away.

  • Nice tutorial

  • thanks

    hope it helped

  • yes mate allot!!!

& some interesting cuts on the way, it seems whenever you do a hard cut it tightens up all the other cuts,
