When this song came out I was just saved. I was struggling so hard. I wanted to do right but I kept failing, then I'd go to Mt. Erie Baptist Church in San Diego and my friend Linda would sing this song. I was barely hanging on but the song was so fully anointed.

@MrNewtcummer IN the fall of '78 i prayed for the first time. i asked GOD to come into my life and take back the life that i had taken away from Him. i told Him that i would do whatever He asked me to do. if He couldn't find anything for me to do, to kill me in my sleep. spring of 79 Jesus came into my life. i have been changed. i gave up all my old ways, came in out of the world of sin and been walking and talking for Jesus ever since. still i'm not what i want to be,but i thank GOD. @MrNewtcummer IN June of '79 i used my last $20 to buy my first Bible. on August 19th i saw my second vision. 9/21/79 i was given 1 John 2:27. 10/3/79 i was given Isaiah 55. Jesus said for me to come to Him and Learn of Him and it wouldn't cost me a thing. For that reason every thing that i do for GOD'S people i do for free. i've been changed and i've no reason not to live this life that i have been given a second chance at. sometimes brother it take time, but all the time GOD is on time. bless

I know from personal experience when times got so terrible that I thought I could not make it another day. Now, God has truly blessed my life. Thank God for placing this woman with this song. It's wonderful to my ears. I cry as I type because, A change comes over me every time I hear this song. Gos is real & I know He is able. He changed my life. I've lost dear loved ones. He's still bringing me through. You see, I still mourn my loved ones. God has helped me to learn to live with the loss but, I will never forget them.
