How is it a Cinderella story when she had a house, three kids (and still could afford to stay home) because of her working husband, whereas Jo was a single parent with a small baby, on benefits and living in a rented flat? fair play to Meyer for the work she did, but comparing her "rags to riches story" with Jo's is just stupid. the only real thing the books have in common is that they are both for YA readers so the "battle" between is redundant as well.

I don't understand why there has to be competition between Harry Potter and Twilight/J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer. People can love whatever books they want, why fight about it?
