@lovekarachi Bulleh is in a class by himself. Waris and Sultan are very good but do not match Bulleh. Who would say that "Jadon yaar raazi hoya, raazi rub ho gaya". OR "Kanjari banaya meri izzat na ghutdi, menoo nutch ka yaar manawan they".OR Kaabey wali gali witch yaar tha makaan way" and many many great philosophical verses. @ktpunjab I agree with u. Shakespeare is over rated. He did not have much philosophy in his plays. Bulleh Shah is full of philosophy and whatever he has said will be true FOREVER. He is the BRAVEST poet of all times. Imagine any body writing " Jirra Sanoo syed akhey, dozakh milan sazaaian; Jirra sanoo arraain akhey, bahishtay peengan paayyan" or " Kanjri banyaa meirey izzat nayoon ghatdi, menoo natchkay yaar manawan dey" He also practiced what he preached. just wanted to say that i think kalam is named after the name of person who writes it. many singers will sing the kalam, name of the kalam should remain the same(kalam bulleh shah). when i saw the title (before hearing it), i thought its kalam written by "hazrat sultan bahu". anyways, i enjoy hearing this kalam everyday. thanks guys.
