  • You probably do not speak Hebrew. There is nothing to do with the development of a language or a dialect.

    It is sad to see Sephardic Israelis switch there accent depending on who they talk to.

  • No one is "to blame" as you say. Israel is young and modern Hebrew is young as well. It takes generations to develop regional dialects and Hebrew is a developing language.
