  • I am so tired of people insulting South Africa and passing comment on things they have no knowledge on. Until you have lived here and actually experienced what the country is like, you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm proud to be South African! I live in an amazing country!

  • I'm sick of people saying "how much they hate the vuvuzeylas", well this is the South African World Cup, i hear its what the South Africans do at football matches, so why can't people just accept their culture and the way they do things? If people keep saying shit about the vuvuzayla, then theres no point in hosting the World Cup in South Africa is there? Turn the volume down on your TV if its that irritating to you. Nobody says anything about the airhorns people blow at football matches here.

  • Vuvuzelas Vuvuzelas!!!

He is a true man of man. May God Bless Mandela and South Africa

  • I left South Africa, and I don't regret it a single bit. I KNOW that the whole "a country united" story the government is telling is bullshit. Fuck you South Africa, I hope the team loses first game, I hope the world sees what an epic fail south africa is. Fuck you.

  • @DoomExtreme1 Obviously you are probably not a true S. African. We don't miss you either and don't come back.

  • @DoomExtreme1 I WISH THE CUP TO STAY IN AFRICA. we own you so much. THANK YOU AFRICA ! a europian"white" friend

  • @MrsBlerina1979 It's an international competition... Also I knew someone would cry racism. Whenever someone is SA was insulted by the truth, they cry racism.

  • @ lcrusaderl8814 name one country that doesnt have crime or aids on god's green earth?

u people epitomise everything that's wrong with the world.

u need to build yourself a little bubble and stay there

while the rest of us will enjoy the culture of South Africa on display

for the Biggest Sporting Event in the World.

  • @theblackbarbie698

The US has made it to 3rd place and recently in the 02 world cup to the quarterfinals. Mexico also made it to the quarterfinals. Has South Africa made it that far?

  • I would not set foot in this crime and HIV forsaken land.. Good luck for the travelers and may god help em not to bring a "present" for their girlfriends.

  • @lcrusaderl8814 : Nobody is asking you to sleep around (without a condom) Damn! You may give us South African's HIV!

  • @lcrusaderl8814 - a bitter, jealous statement.

  • south african hospitality? hahahah never heard of it, both the blacks and whites are the most unfriendly africans i ever met. but no doubt south africa is a beautiful country. If you want hospitality and peace go to Gambia, south africa NO NO NO

  • @quepasa3000 Exactly, I can't believe how the government makes it seem otherwise.

  • I sure hope elephants and lions don't run on the pitch. Might be very distracting

  • lol this is stupid.... u think south africa is bad go to mexico or the usa ...

  • @Theblackbarbie698 thank you for telling the truth

  • @nabberboy about wat?...

  • 0:25 - 0:28 EPIC SHOT. I can wait for this to come!

  • It's time for the whole world to see what this beautiful, vibrant and diverse country has to offer. The World Cup is going to be such an eye opener for people around the world to the wonderful potential of South Africa. I can't wait!

  • @mildseven73 thats kinda sterotype but i get you point.

  • Stunning video, top draw, peace, love and take care. :D

  • I think that we shouldn't be saying that South Africa should not have goten the World Cup there because honestly I think it'll be great. First of all South Africa will be fit to do and and the ones that say that there is still poverty and violence there, come on. If you haven't noticed there are worse places with poverty and crime going on in Africa. SA will do a great job. It'll be one ofthe World's best World Cups. Honestly

  • @NikoManCity14

Dude, I suggest you watch some documentaries on the current situation in SA. 50 people a day, yes 50 A DAY are murdered. SA has one of the worst crime/murder rates in the world. Unemployment and poverty are increasing at staggering rates.

I'm not saying they won't do a great job, because they no doubt will host a very good world cup. But it all comes at a price - and that price is the continued poverty of it's own people. Honestly, I'd rather that first world countries host it.

  • I'm a big football fan, but I just can't handle SA hosting.

The world cup should never have gone to SA until they fix up their poverty & crime issues. Now all the money will go into the World Cup and ignore the shocking social issues the county has. It's fucking disgusting.

  • @DeluxeReissue : Countries far worse than SA have hosted the World Cup, most notably the military regime-run Argentina in 1978, the Mussolini-run Italy in 1934, or (according to football purists) "we don't give a fuck about soccer" USA in 1994. FIFA felt a need to grow the sport in Africa, and SA is truly the only place in that continent capable of hosting this tournament.

  • @SYLFan2008

Egypt, Morrocco and Saudi Arabia could do a better job than SA.

  • @DeluxeReissue : That's your opinion, but I strongly disagree based on the current status-quo.

  • @DeluxeReissue

South Africa has a lot of social problems (crime, poverty, unemployment)....Do you really think NOT hosting the World Cup is going to make these problems go away??

Hosting the WC comes with a lot of benefits (improved infrastructure-road, rail, air, thousands of short and long term jobs, skills development, tourism, etc). All these have long term benefits to the ppl and the country. There is no one way to solve SA's social problems, hosting the WC is just one of the ways!!

  • @segatman

Let's agree to disagree then. How about we come back here in 2015 and see who was right.

  • @DeluxeReissue

Make it December 2010, and let's see if the benefits of the WC will have been sustained. We can either hold a positive attitude of giving other developing nations a chance to host major sporting events and benefit from the resulting improvement in their infrastructure ( a major requirement for any progress) or we can say "to hell with them and their poverty, crime and diseases".

But you are right..let's agree to disagree.

  • Hey guys, I don't understand what is the word tht he said when he says "few places in the world often you that special hospitality, for ??? of africans have become famous"

Can anyone help me to find out what is the word that he said??Pleaseee

  • @ankhgirl6 he said "few places in the world OFFER you that special hospitality for WHICH THE south africans have become famous"

  • @ankhgirl6 it is "for which the south africans have become famous"

  • WTF IS THIS!

  • MADIBA! Can't wait, can't wait! Allez les bleus!

  • If there was a 25% chance you could die driving to work everyday, you would smile while idiots like I would be complaining, kicking and screaming until somebody made it safer, but I'm not from South Africa. Ignorance is bliss I guess. Wasn't the dodo bird from an island near South Africa?

  • @brokencountry123 yes dodos were from an island near South Africa and were wiped out by colonial settlers and the Tazmanian wild dog... same as the extinction of 50million passenger pigeons in America from European settlers and the near extinction of the bison, the wolves and others.

  • Type in "White Genocide in South Africa David Duke" and watch the video! Has some excellent information including controversial footage of mandela never seen before in the west ! Very Hard hitting ! You will need to sign in to watch.

  • This is funny ! The South African Power service provider 'City Power' has a response for their failure to supply and fraudulent mismanagement of funds and budget...... ' YOU'VE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD'. Haha. The directors get massive bonuses for their failure ,but tell the majority poor to 'shut up !' Makes me laugh how no one is SA is accountable for anything. Sounds like DICTATORSHIP. Oh well this is Africa after all. We should expect it anyway.

  • Great!!

  • I am so proud to be South African, and you may be surprised to hear that I am white! I have so much faith in our people at home, and anyone who slanders our country does not appreciate what blessings are. We are SO excited for the World Cup - it is what our country needs - let us make the most of it and give back - BE POSITIVE AND HAVE FUN!!! Count your blessings!!!!

  • @babils100 your right too many things have been said about our country...but atleat we dont live in huts or starve and our culture is rich !!

  • @babils100 Of course, let me count how many good friends of mine have died do to vicious break in's and high jacking. Yes, how many blessings I got! You clearly haven't lost someone, otherwise you would be singing another tune asshole.

  • @babils100 Your words are so perfect for this moment. South Africa was so criticised, specially in Europe, and now all the world must bend the knees to your beautiful country and to the wonderful people of South Africa! It has given a lesson to the world: a lesson of freedom and of faith! I read a comment in another video, from an european, saying that all world cups should be hosted in the old continent. They couldn't be wronger! Against all prejudices, ALL HAIL AFRICA! Greetings from Brasil!

  • @babils100 and what a great blessing it was. Yes we can fellow South African :-)

  • who would want to attend a stadium with thousands of thugs? That's who they're selling their tickets off to now because they're desperate to fill the seats. You could easily be mugged or stabbed by a psychopathic black racist.

  • @brokencountry123 dude, why do you think you're going to get stabbed by a "psychopathic black racist"? you read all the gossip in the newpapers and believe all the hype. sure, it's possible that it could happen, just like a meteor could fall on your head. but thinking if you go to a game and you're going to get stabbed for sure, it's just not reality.

  • @misterchuckle Do you even care why I think that? Zimbabwe refugees are flooding that country and turning it into a hell hole: warlords, gangs, violent mobs, etc. You can keep a positive attitude but that doesn't change the reality. Rachel Corrie is a good example of that. She was white and advocated black rights in Africa. She was brutally murdered by blacks because she was white. The education, morals, race relations are appalling and you say shut up about it everything is fine, bullshit.

  • @brokencountry123 dude my philospohy is there's no point in worrying about something that might happen. if there's shit you just deal with it at the time and deal with it properly. i suppose as a south african we just learn to accept the situation as an everyday part of life.

  • Comment removed

  • @brokencountry123 well...im half zimbabweanhalf south african and i totally agree with u..

  • What a mess, only the locals are buying tickets. Blame crime and price hikes around the venues from unscrupulous locals, its not safe anyway, Africa was always going to be a mistake, now we'll have to watch the games on TV listening and looking at tons of primitives gollywogging around and blowing their pain in the ass trumpet. :rolls eyes:

  • @KnightOfChrist1 ..simply because someones culture is different to urs makes them primitive? gollywogging? really? you are one sad human !

  • God bless our wonderful country, South Africa, and ALL her people!

  • @joynozfri God doesn't bless countries in which 95% of the populace are criminals. Wonderful country? Do you call sewer rats beautiful animals aswell?

  • @DoomExtreme1 Sad, sad person! There is no point commenting on your reply to my comment.

  • @DoomExtreme1 95% are criminals because 5% are rich

  • may god bless them .

  • I wish they had used my song as the backdrop for this! Invincibme ME! its the essence of World Cup spirit!

  • Africa, where its all began. Where the spark of life and milion species rise. Africa has got a right to freedom! Good luck to all nations and make Africa proud!

  • I don't think one African country will come out of the first round...

  • Latest (everyday) news : 15 black men beat to death a man, gang-raped his wife and even beated his 4 YEAR OLD GIRL. This is the true South Africa awaiting all visitors coming here for the World Cup. THINK TWICE!

  • @georgew537

Yes george537 South Africa is on borrowed time, its Zimbabwe all over again just a waiting to happen. No ones buying tickets anyway they had to sell them off cheap to the locals, the primitive bunch no doubt, it will be a zoo and a shambles, glad I'm not going I'll watch it on TV.

  • Hi Chris, I have a passion for Nelson Mandela and prisons

  • this is beautiful man i think ill shed a tear of joy if SOUTH AFRICA WINS, not because its just an african country BUT BECAUSE THE WORLD THINKS THAT AFRICA IS A DUMP, just wait african is more than that...it is a virgin land that will arise in years to come. trust me when i say this, we will not recognize the africa today in 50 years =D GO SOUTH AFRICA!!!

  • Nice Video Look at my videos..Go MEXICO!

  • South Africa is the RAPE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. A BBC Survey on rape in South Africa conluded that 1in4 Black South Africans have raped someone, with half of those raped several women.

Women in South Africa are more likely to be raped than learn how to read. All Black South Africans should be treated as potential rapsists.

  • korea will be champion.

    because korea have kung-fu football.

  • The NIGGERS will kill you there!!!

  • ATTENTION ALL WHITE PEOPLE:

You must boycott the South African World Cup. Shut it down.

White hating mau-maus Julius Malema and Thato Mbateti Mbateti warn [QUOTE] Every trespasser, namely white whores, we will rape them and kill them... White kids will be burned. (Expressdotcodotuk, 4-7-10)

  • World Cup Countdown: Just 65 days to kick-off in South Africa! :-)

  • SA is my own country ,but i'm disgusted to call myself a South African. The highest infant rape case record in the world. I am ashamed and hate my own country.

  • does anybody know who is singing this song and what it is called?

  • @bollietube yeah u so right join hands n make it better not talk negativly bet those that talk can do nothing They have 2 get involved coz they r gonna have future generation who they would like 2 c have good lives GOD BLESS THE ILLETERATE MAKE THEM WAKE UP N COME 2A LIFE OF REALLITY BLACKS R THER 2 RULE SO LETS HELP- N MAKE A DIFFERENC

  • Good freedom of expressions

  • All prospective visitors to South Africa please take note : yesterday a 17-year old girl was gang raped, murdered and her arms were hacked off. This is the kind of cruel & vicious criminal (animal!) awaiting you when you come SA for the World Cup. SA is home to a breed of criminal unlike any in the CIVILIZED world. Please think twice - it simply is not worth the risk. And I AM speaking from 20 years service as a senior police officer and a recent victim of a car hijacking and a house robbery

  • @georgew537 You dont know a thing about SA have you lived there? I highly dounbt it, just be quiet k?

  • @knightbrotha1 I have lived here all my live (42 years to be exact!) and know what I'm talking about, since almost half of my life was spent serving in the SA Police Service, so I would imagine that I should know a tiny bit more than you..

Secondly I deduct from your intelligent name that you must be Black and therefore understand why you are taking it so personally when anyone refers to violent crimes that have been committed.. as if you are feeling guilty??

  • @knightbrotha1 Thirdly, and I'm saying this for the 76th time - I am not trying to "paint the country black" - Horrendous violent crimes are being committed DAILY against defensless people - even the elderly (thanks in part to your Brotha Julius) and the same fate awaits many unsupecting tourist coming here expecting a wonderful time but who are in for a nasty surprise!!

  • yeah!! like they dont know. u have never been a cop ur just a hater. simply as that!

  • seriously, get a fucking life georgew537.

  • @footballskill19 seriously, come up with more intelligent (fucking) comment in response??..

  • kaffirbasher1 go spread your hate somewhere else. you are a disgrace.

  • @andrestrydom3 - Net soos jou ma.

  • Two cleaners at a five-star Cape Town hotel have been charged with theft for allegedly stealing $40 000 (R296 000) from a safe in one of the hotel's rooms.

Nokuphiwa Jamela, 24, and Bongiswa Mashicelo, 24, both from Gugulethu, appeared briefly in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. They were arrested on Monday by Table Bay police after the hotel reported the incident

  • PRETORIA, South Africa. Blonde teenager Anika Smit, (17) was found murdered with her hands and forearms chopped off. The girl's limbs are missing - cut off just below the elbows -- Nothing else was robbed. Body-parts have great value in South Africa: there is a flourishing trade in human body-parts for the lucrative 'traditional medicine' (muti). People often are found mutilated - and usually body parts are cut off while the victims were still alive to 'increase the power of the medicine'.

  • Police shot and injured a suspected hijacker in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg, a spokesperson said on Friday.

  • A Chinese shop owner was stabbed in the eye during an armed robbery in Mthatha on Friday morning,

Three men entered the shop on Sutherland Street at 9:00 and demanded money, before stabbing the owner in the eye and threatening shoppers with a pistol

  • I can't wait for the World Cup ! It's gonna be legen...wait for it...dary !

  • @ All that thinks that South Africa is a dangerous place.

Tell me which place in earth is safe from violence and crime? People should be glad that Africa is finally going to host their first World Cup! I certainly am and I have African roots but was born in Sweden.

All these reports of street violence and crimes, is just a way of luring people to not go to the World Cup held in S.A. When World Cup was held in Germany 2006, newspapers reported frauds, up to 3450 crimes were reported.

    Go to S.A!

  • PORTUGAL

  • Four suspected robbers have been arrested on what appeared to have been a cash-in-transit heist in Temba, near Pretoria,.A police patrol was passing a petrol station when shots were fired at them from a SBV cash van

The officers shot back and the van drove into the petrol station.Police shot out the van's tyres in a bid to stop it. An armoured police Nyala vehicle was used to stop the van from getting away.

  • Sthabi - Voetsek jou kaffir.

The true owners of the land are the San people. Not you kaffirs.

    Mandela se moer.

    Zuma se gat.

    Viva AWB viva

  • Kaffirbasher

Spoken like a true plaasjapie...with a pig skin ofcoz. You sound like an angry, poor white boy who cant stand sucking up to the powerful black majority but cant do anything about it....deal with it!!

I bet if u had money to go to Australia u would have done that long ago hahaha!!....but for now, BEE and Afirmative Action has got your arse right where I want it!! Go take a bath jou pink vark...jy stink!!

  • I just wish the world cup was held elsewhere. i would definitely of gone to the world cup this year if it was held anywhere else, but ive got south african mates who keep telling me how bad it is out there. nothing good will come of this. just a shame its too late.

  • boa sorte a todas as seleções que disputarão o maior torneio esportivo do mundo

  • Hey everyone!! come see my newest video about the world cup. Just click on my channel.

  • L'ALGERIE CHAMPIONI 2010

  • This man George was an old apartheid era policeman - you cannot expect anything positive from him - crime may be bad here, but apartheid was far worse. I wouldn't live anywhere else. The World Cup is going to be great and will put all those Afro-pessimists to shame! Come and see for yourselves.

  • @Poswit what do u mean man?

  • @nabberboy : What's the question?

  • george you are just going to all the fifa sites you can find and are trashin SA. you should just go to sleep...

  • if south africans with their pessimistic or "realist" attitudes (whatever you pathetic people call it) cannot help but feel better after watching this, then their is no peace for you... in this country or another. You will never be happy unless you are unhappy. To the rest of us still committed to working for our future, i say this; it was never going to be easy, it was never going to be without sacrifice but our future is calling us but lets not forget about our past either!!! viva sa viva

  • It is because the past has become such an easy excuse, that this country has deteriorated as much as it has.

Incompetence, criminality and even stupidness have all been blamed on the past (apartheid)

Stop looking for lame excuses and start addressing the real problem in SA - the shockingly high violent crime rate!!!!!

  • v=M7r9C5NxKYY

  • Empyriumman I totally agree with you - the horrendous statistics DO speak for themselves! - even the manipulated statistics "produced" by the SA Police Service.

I was a policeman for 20 years and was a serving member when they started manipulating crime stats back in 2001 (just before our World Cup bid)

Maybe we should just start quoting the daily headlines to show the world what they are letting themselves in for...

  • So if u dont have facts STFU! Coz even if u vent ur spleen, theres little u can do to bring SA down, especially being as clueless as u are.Live with ur bitterness u swamp beast!
